My doorway measured just under 24" wide, but took a chance on this gate. I attached all the adjuster screws, and it wouldn't fit in the doorway. I had also bought wall protector pads to use with this gate. So, I removed all the adjuster screws and usedd the pads instead. It fit!!! But the gate wouldn't latch shut. Put in just the one adjuster screw closest to the latch, used it to tighten the gate within the doorframe, and now the gate fits and the gate latches and opens easily.Very happy with this gate!

I decided to give this gate a try since the smallest size offered is also the size of the doorway I needed gated and I was not successful in finding anything narrower for the height I needed. Unfortunately the installation of the gate was not quite as easy breezy as advertised. Fortunately everything worked out in the end with a bit of WD-ElbowGrease, my own bodyweight, and determination.The biggest obstacle I ran into and the reason for my wordy review, is the bottom stoppers that secure the gate to the doorway stick out a bit further than the stoppers at the top of the gate. In turn, this made the bottom of the gate slightly wider than advertised. This became an obstacle since my doorway is the exact size of the smallest gate. Not sure if there's a possibility my package did not contain all the correct parts, or if this is an actual manufacturer issue.

The gate came undamaged and on time and easy to put together. Seems to be very well made and very sturdy to hold back 2 black labs from torturing us.

This is a sturdy gate that should do a great job of holding back my little animals. The only issue that I had with it is a small amount of rust near one of the rungs. Without the rust, it would’ve been a five star review.I got the wall protection cups from Amazon. They do not come with the gate.

This is a nice, sturdy gate! I figured that it would be good to contain my two dogs since there's a dog in the picture. For reference, they are 5 and 10 lbs, respectively. The actual gate portion is fine. Unfortunately, the openings on the side of the gate are wider than those in the middle, meaning that my smaller dog could easily fit through. Additionally, expanding the gate to fit a wider space leaves relatively large openings on the sides, which both my dogs were able to fit through. It might be good for bigger dogs, provided that they're not athletic enough to jump over it. Unfortunately, I had to return it.

We’ve bought this gate twice. The first one we had my daughter broke it by snapping the actual door off the hinges. I will say the company attempted to keep me from having to buy a whole new one by sending me the part but it didn’t work as it was to big. Up until then it was great. It’s looked nice and was very sturdy! Now, we bought it a second time and I have a big problem with part of it. The first time we got this gate (and i’m so thankful we didn’t throw it away) the clamps that came with it that go over where the sections connect we’re metal like the gate. The second time we bought it those same pieces were plastic. Huge fail. The gate moved and did not hold up near as well. I switched out the plastic pieces for the metal ones we still had and it doesn’t move at all. The manufacturer really needs to stick to the metal over plastic. It makes such a difference! If I didn’t still have the metal pieces I would have returned the gate.

I have issues with both my hands and I installed it with no problem. I love it!
