Fantastic product

Bought this for a friends birthday and when he went to redeem it the coins never showed in his account. It's been several days and they still have not shown.EA says that I should contact Amazon, and the link they provide takes me to a customer service page that first attempts to blame my friend for not entering in the code correctly, and then promptly directs us to the "Product Publisher or Service Provider". Well Amazon.com Services LLC is the seller and customer service provider, and when you click that link it takes you back to the customer service page. So it basically just sends you around in a circle.The lack of accountability is really off-putting and, short of taking this to small claims court, I don't know how else to get the money to my friend or get a refund at this point. I've read that some have called Amazon and been told to make a bank charge-back on the purchase, but EA will ban players who charge-back on purchases, and I don't want to risk my friend being banned from the game that he loves.This has put me in a very unfortunate and unpleasant situation of deciding whether to get my money back or just eat the loss. I will not be buying digital gift cards from Amazon again.

you need to if you use steam redeem it on origin through the EA website, then launch the game ONCE on the origin launcher, then you can open steam back up, assuming you linked steam with your origin account.

It is not made plainly obvious that you have to buy a different code for different platforms. It only says it way at the bottom of the page; one little line. As someone who doesn't play the game and was purchasing it for a friend, there was no way to know that Origin meant this was to use on their own launcher. Since the game is cross platform, it would make sense that the code works everywhere. Now we can't get a refund and there is a sad player.
