OLSON SAW 17280 3/8x80 4TPI Saw Blade

When buying bandsaw blades, it's hard to tell if they will stand up to the test. Taking the time to adjust your saw properly is very important but only if you want your blade to last. The Olson blade I puchased is worth reviewing to let fellow wood workers know that it is a quality blade. As with any bandsaw let the blade do the work no need to force it. Choose the right blade for the right job. A 3/8" blade will cut a circle around 2-1/2" but I use relief cutting. I was able to cut full depth of 6" and maintain a decent straight line. (The blade doing the work of course.} I will purchase this brand again.

these are very good saw blades. I ordered three with the hope that would be all I needed for the year. that would have been true if I had not hit a nail in the wood three times! this was after I had cut over three hundred maple wings , even the best blades don't handle steel well if they are made for wood, anyway I will be ordering more.Bob H

I used it to saw some lumber from a southern live oak tree (very high janka hardness rating) log, went through like butter.

I have dealt with these guys before and with the Olson brand of blades as well. I have never had any complaints about either. I would recommend. Best prices I could find on the net at this quality level.

A nice sharp saw blade is a pleasure to use, I can see years of cutting with this blade. Buy the best quality you can afford, it will last.
