I got these mittens last year and it is has literally been life changing. This might sound dramatic, but it's actually not. I love being outdoors but I'm always cold...and the biggest problem being that my fingers/ toes can be numb while my core is too hot and I'm sweating. These have been a GAME CHANGER. I have been wearing them for almost every mildly chilly outdoor activity since I got them last summer- first, at my mountain wedding, then for fall rock climbing, and most importantly...for skiing. I used to have to go into the lodge between every other run, and knowing I couldn't do that this year was why I got them. Let me tell you- they have delivered! They get nice and warm on the hot setting, although the battery doesn't last super long I will typically have it on the warmest setting for a short time and then knock it down to one, and it lasts for about 4 hours. (I'm not one to be out all day anyways so this is great for me). I love these and recommend them to everyone I know. So far they have been very durable and worked perfectly. I got a size small and it fits perfectly on me. The batteries are lasting longer than I expected. I had a full charge, used it for 3 hours skiing on level 2-3, and was still able to use it walking to work and back this past week on level 1-2. It warms the outside of your hand down to your finger tips and it can get pretty warm depending on what you are doing and the weather. Subzero it is warm but keep in mind heat will escape due to breathability of the glove. There's a glove inside the mitten and the fabric is soft but not the softest. The outside glove has an extra pocket. The only downfall I have, is that the cords aren't long enough to cinch on your wrists when you take them off. So if you are on a lift and need to adjust your helmet it can't be attached to you when you take them off - but I think I can find some sort of bungee cord somewhere to fix this.Also it'd be great to have other colors or designs other than the usual basic black!Update - I'm going on my second season using these mittens and have gotten more complements and jealous looks mostly from other women. I tell them to go on Amazon! Anyway I love them and can't go anywhere without them. It's so cold on the way to work, then I have a 10 minute walk. I don't have to keep my hands in my pocket, just a few clicks on the buttons and the warmth just comes!

My wife wanted something warmer than regular mittens. We started with low cost battery packs to through in the mittens. Those were better than nothing but but an integrated system would be nicer for dexterity.So we started looking at various electric mittens. Not sure how she would like them, we decided to start with SnowDeer as the price was reasonable for electric mittens that include a rechargeable battery. If they worked well but there were quality systems, then we would look at more expensive options from other companies.They have kept her plenty warm even on cold days (single digits F/ - teens C) for a good amount of time. All day events would benefit from a spare battery if you want to run at levels higher than the low setting.The work so well that she uses them for everyday wear for cold weather use from going to the store and other activities.The system comes with a charger and USB A cable to special end for the battery to plug them in charge. This is nice since it will allow us to just use the cable with other USB chargers we have at home.The cables in the mittens are holding up great so far. Their design is adequate but not like those nice braided USB cables that last for ever so I take great care installing and removing the batteries.We liked the mittens enough to give their socks a try. They use the same battery packs so it seemed low risk as worst case we would end up with a second battery pack for the gloves.

I received these mittens as a Christmas gift and they did not disappoint. I have Reynaud's, so my hands and fingers get painfully cold when the temperature drops. So far, I have worn these when the temps have been in the low twenties and high teens, and they have kept my hands warm. Even on the highest temperature setting the heat is just enough to keep my hands warm without being too hot, which is good as my hands also have a painful adverse reaction to heat.The batteries are rechargeable and made especially for the mittens. You would think the battery would make the mittens heavy, but it tucks nicely into the wrist area, so I don't even notice it when I'm wearing the mittens.Snow Deer's customer service is also top notch. The first set of mittens, x-small, was slightly too big for me as I have petite hands. I reached out to the company to see about exchanging them for the xx-small, and they responded promptly by sending me the smaller size within a couple of days. I was so pleased I didn't have to wait several days or weeks for them to arrive.I would definitely recommend these to anyone with Reynaud's or who lives/visits where it gets cold. I cannot wait to wear these skiing as I'll be able to actually feel the poles.

I love these mittens. I ski in New England and even without the electric heat, they are warm and cozy. The heaters along the fingers are great. So far I have only used them down to 10degrees f but the batteries have plenty of power. I let my sister try them and she bought some. She let her granddaughter try them and now her daughter -in-law and grandson both want some. The only suggestion I would make is to bias more heat to the thumbs.

Very pleased with these mittens and customer service. Bought a way more expensive pair of heating mitts previously and returned them because they were too tight and too bulky with the battery. Decided to try those although seemed too good to be true. I was between XS and S so ordered S which were too big. Very easy return and exchange with the seller. The XS is still big but works well. My hands and feet are always frozen and I normally wear a liner so it fits well. Was able to really test the product over two days outdoor walking and then alpine skiing at below -20 and I was fine at 2nd intensity without a liner. Did not freeze except for the thumb which got a bit cold. I’m amazed at the performance of the mitts for the price. Very pleased so far.

The picture of this produce implies that there are heating elements on the bottom of the finger tips. In fact there is only heating on the outside of the hand which means finger tips are cold for temperatures lower than -15 deg C

These are amazing! Highly recommend! The battery life is a few hours dependent on the heat level. They stay warm and do exactly what you would want.
