Great and easy to install
Fits great on my Corsa and really useful for transporting my paddle board ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So so, straps need to be able to be locked
Used this to transport my kayak, works quite well, however the straps tend to loosen off over time. I tried tying them off which helps, but it is a worry. I kept my speed under 50mph, wouldn't risk going faster. Kayak slips if going around tight bends and roundabouts as there is no mechanism for holding it in place. The kayak essentilly stays in place with gravity. Glad I bought extra straps but would recommend a lashing with a ratchet.

Causes car to leak water in the rain
Used to transport a kids kayak on a 200 mile round trip. Straps constantly came loose, causing the roof bags to slide towards the back of the car. Tried tying them off which appeared to help somewhat, though massively off putting when driving to have to keep looking through sun roof to make sure everything was still in place. Also, left bars on overnight when it rained. When removing the next day, car seats were soaked through. Rain had run through the straps and had been dripping into the car.Thought these would be a cheap alternative to fixed roof bars, but wish I’d just paid the extra.

Ok for small kayak or surf board.
Bought this to take my kayak on holiday, new car is an import, roof rack hard to get and £180 so I thought I'd give this a try. I did a test run the day before, easy to fit to roof. The drive was a nightmare both ways, had to stop every 20/30 miles to tighten it, nothing I could do to stop the straps slipping, they just couldn't hold my kayak. This is a sea kayak and fairly large (well under the max load weight). I think it would be ok with a small kayak or surf board but not a larger kayak. This was driving all or motorways, think it would have been a lot worse on country roads.
