Smaller than I thought but nice

I like these so much that this is my third purchase.While the size looks small, it's a perfect lunch portion. I've bought larger ones, but these get used the most.They freeze well, are leak proof, go straight into the microwave and run through the top rack of the dishwasher.The price is reasonable. I use them for lunch and, if the housekeeper at work throws them out, it's OK - it only costs me 46 cents. If they run it through the dishwasher, I can later take it home and reuse. I win either way. And I never have the hassle of carting dirty (smelly) glass dishes home. Because they are fully recyclable (5), I feel OK using them in lieu of glass.I'm single. When I cook on the weekends, I'll eat one portion for dinner and pack the remainder into these containers. I can still enjoy cooking without having to eat the same thing for 5 days straight (no fun).I tag these with removable labels (dish description and date) and freeze. So, at all times, I have a freezer full of different home-cooked meals.I take these for lunch and it's healthier than commercial freezer meals and so cost effective! A single lady's dream.

Good quality but some lids came damage so now i have two containers with no lid

These are the best to have whether you’re giving a meal to a friend or you’re putting stuff in the freezer or send it away with your kids to college they come in every size and shape and a very durable.

First off, the caveat. They are disposable (obviously because they aren't glass) after a while of use and they don't have a steam hole or anything (my expectations). Beyond that, these are BEYOND fantastic. The 12oz are perfect for segmenting your meals out. For instance, just today I went to Chipolte and I was able to fit two bowls into barely four of these bowls.Another thing, there are 50 of them. So I put some in the garage in a large container and then just brought out 10 at a time. I still have 20 in the garage and using like 15.I also use them for cooking when you have to have like 8 ingredients. I simply lay them out and use them for cooking too.So they are "perfect" for many things. Including storage. The lids are tight and lock on really well. So well in fact that the containers that were ruined (a few) was because I tried to rip the lids off the wrong way. I buy a lot from Amazon and rarely review but these deserve it. Couldn't be happier.

I had a large family party. All the food was made by the family using recipes from past generations. I got these containers so those of us who wanted to taste those items again could have them the next day. We also provided paper and pens for people to exchange their contact info, so they could get recipes they really enjoyed. It was a wonderful party, great food, reuniting for people who had lost touch, the new generation meeting us old folks. These containers really were a hit. Everyone took, at least, one!I must admit this not an original idea. My niece has a big Thanksgiving dinner. She always provides the larger size for those of us that live alone, so we can have a great meal the next day. This product is great!

I used the same link to reorder the ones from a couple years ago. It sadly was not the same product, so the lids are not interchangable with the other 50+ remaining containers I have. I'm disappointed. The product are good though, I just want shape consistency for when I reorder.
