Rich dark color. Doesn't trigger allergy.
10+ years a loyal customer of Zuzu cosmetics. No allergic skin and eye reactions. Dark rich colors. Daily use lasts 8 months. Even though it's pricier than other brands - it's worth it.

Nile liquid eyeliner by Zuzu Luxe
Nile liquid eyeliner is close to teal in color and application is smooth (no need to layer the product on for deep color). The application stick is scratchy but if you've applied liquid liner before, you will know what pressure and method (dotting line along lid, lightly drag across lid, etc.) to apply it on your eyelid. Give it a minute to dry. Liner pigment does lose some luster over time and will run a bit when water falls on it. Juggling phone and eyeliner wand for a product review photo, is a challenge! Hopefully it'll provide an idea for what color to expect for "Nile." I was leery at first but decided to try it since I have a teal mascara (Bold Statement mascara in Teal by auNaturale). That mascara does crumble so you may notice teal flecks in the photo, that is from the mascara not the eyeliner.

Easy to use, stays on all day!
Love this brand. The applicator is felt-like with a point on the tip. I start with a few dots and work my way out to combat any excess that may be on the applicator. I can make thick lines for a dramatic look, or a very thin line for a barely wearing makeup look. I have tried other brands, but keep coming back to this one. I always get a good clean line and it stays on all day. Very happy with this, and the product seems to last me a few months.

Natural Liner Win!
I'm 32 years old and I recently discovered liquid eyeliner. I love it. I love how it looks, how precise and close to the lash line you can get, and the bit of skill and steady hand it requires.I was given a black (a different brand) in one of those "mystery box" subscriptions, but I wanted something a little more natural. So I came to Amazon and found this.I bought and have used both the Amethyst (purple) and Taureg (brown). For what it's worth I have brown eyes and these are the colors I've always worn. While they do dry a bit lighter than their liquid form, they are rich colors that are what I'd expect of a purple and brown eyeliner. One thing I find to be a pro and con is that it is pretty easy to remove. I like to use more natural products, including remover, and other liners I really have to scrub off. On the lash line, that can be uncomfortable. These come off with some aloe vera and witch hazel toner. The downside is that if I rub my eye for some reason during the day, sometimes it can rub off a little when I don't want it to.I also don't love the brush. It's too thick and doesn't really bend. It doesn't move like a brush. I have to adjust the way I'd normally apply it a little, sometimes the line ends up thicker than I'd like. All in all, I feel like the makeup is a good product, and unless I encounter something as I go through the bottles, I would most likely purchase it again. I do wish they'd rethink the brush though.

A good product and good ingredients
IngredientsWater, Sorbitol, Cetyl Alcohol, Iron Oxides, Mica, Jojoba Oil, Bentonite, Bisabolol, Tocopherol, Xanthan Gum, Lecithin, Eyebright Extract, Titanium Dioxide, Cellulose Gum, Hectorite, Grapeseed Extract.Let me say this first about this product, it is a great eyeliner. The brush is firm and is fairly easy to apply. It does need a little time to dry, but I don’t think that is much of a problem. It stays on, even when my eyes water, when I sweat and yes, when I cry. I am impressed.Product ingredients. I am very happy with Zuzu Luxe (and the seller) for having a complete list of ingredients. This was one of the reasons why I chose this product. The description states that “6 gentle and non-irritating liners…” so I checked each of the ingredients and the product rating on EWG.org. EWG.org only had their 2009 formulation, but it matched the ingredient list on Amazon. Here is what EWG.org had to say:The overall score for this product is a “2” out of a possible 10. The scale goes from 1 (low hazard) to 10 (high hazard) and the score is averaged on the scores for each ingredient. However, it also indicates that the data collected was limited and information on the potential toxicity for each ingredient was limited. In general, the high concerns listed were enhanced skin absorption, additive exposure sources, persistence and bioacculation. The one ingredient with the highest rating (3) was lecithin. It is shown to have enhanced skin absorbs ion, multiple additive exposure sources and contamination concerns (Nitrosamines-the presence of nitrosating agents) and use restrictions. The data information was listed as “fair” (“none” meaning there is no scientific literature and “robust” meaning there is substantial scientific literature supporting these concerns. A three places in the middle). It was rated as having no potential for allergies and immunotoxicity (but again there was limited data). I usually look at the first three or four ingredients to give me an indication on how safe it is. In this case water, sorbitol, cetyl alcohol and iron oxides have low to moderate health concerns (of course water being benign).Overall, I am satisfied with the products ingredients and that they have a low potential for causing an allergic reaction. That said, each person is unique and while one chemical may not cause problems for one person, it could very well cause an allergic reaction in another.5 Stars for being honest and having relatively safe ingredients.

The best liquid liner
I have this liner in 4 colors! It stays all day and is easy to take off with oil at the end of the night.

Really excellent eyeliner for a cruelty free brand
My one niggle was that not only did I find it smudges quite easily, which makes it hard to wear (with a precise line) all day, it was quite tricky to fully remove. As it's quite a pricy bottle this is a bit of a deal breaker for me, but I would still recommend it to anyone looking to change to cf make up as good liquid eyeliner is often hard to find.

Worth the money.
This eyeliner is great. It goes on smoothly, the colour is nice and the brush isn't too flimsy. I also noticed that it smells nicer than the non-vegan liquid liners I have bought in the past! Only minor complaint I would have is that it seems a bit stubborn to wipe off. But overall, I highly recommend it.

Colour: storm.
Incredible. I was spoiled with Prestige liquid eyeliner, so thought there was no hope of ever getting an organic version I would love as much as Prestige. This has proved me wrong. A great eyeliner, beautiful colour and precise application.
