I have waist-length thick curly hair and keeping it "tamed" can really be a challenge. I've not had great luck in the past with clips similar to these -- they just didn't open far enough to "capture" my ponytail.These, however, are the exception. They work great! They open wide enough to enable me to secure all the hair and hold tight enough that there's no danger of slippage. I've also slept with one of these still in place (I usually do a side ponytail), and there were absolutely no problems at all. They're sturdy enough to withstand a lot of abuse.I just ordered the second set of these so that I'll have all the colors. The sparkle is subtle, so they work great with both casual and "dressier" attire. I took the first set on a truncated World Cruise in Jan 2020, and got a lot of compliments (before we had to disembark after making it to Australia). Definitely good quality and attractive.

I am beyond satisfied and will definitely reorder in the future.I have been looking at various stores for years and there’s not much to choose from.The plastic and cheap metal clips that are in store are not comparable to how our products used to be made.These hair clips however, are the answer to years of trying to find a quality product that lasts and feels great.They are decorative and are smooth to the touch. In addition they are very strong and they will hold my very very thick hair.They have inner teeth to help hold the hair in place as well.I measured them compared to the one durable clip that I have left. They are slightly smaller in size, but not significantly.As soon as I opened my package I used one and it worked great , looked and felt fine as well.I highly recommend this company and product.

Alright so I have long hair down to my lower back. When I received this item I was very skeptical they were a lot smaller then I thought they were. However I went ahead and tried them anyway. Now my hair is not as thick. I was actually surprised that they held my hair pretty good I do have to fix them every now and then cause my hair slips out but for the most part they hold okay. And a bonus is they are small so they are light weight which is nice. If you have thicker hair this clip probably wont work.

I have long , thick, and heavy hair. I love my hair, but have trouble when I want to wear it up. When I want something quick- I don't want to have to add a lot of anchor bobby pins. I have tried ALL kinds of clips. These were more expensive, but they are just what I need. They are definitely the best clips I've used. They have a nice texture. They are stylish and sturdy. They hold my hair tight to my scalp so that there is no pulling- which always results in a headache. If I had to be critical of anything- it would be that I think I might like them if they were slightly wider. Overall, I am pleased and highly recommend.

I've had these clips for about 6 months and I'm very happy with them. I work in healthcare and once I have it comfortably in place, these clips will stay put for 12+ hour shifts. Which is very important when you're in full PPE gear for long periods of time, and adjusting your hair isn't an option! I use these on my days off as well, they make my hair look very nice. Every tooth and sparkly piece is still intact, so they hold up pretty well with daily use. The one and only tip I have is that since these sometimes catch some strands of my hair against the spring part, and it takes some time to get in place just right. But everyone may experience that, because one of the clips in my pack doesn't catch my hair like that at all. And it's not so bad to give these less than 5 stars because these clips are so great in other ways!

I use claw clips to hold up the top sections of my hair while curling or straightening the bottom sections. I have long, thick hair so I need large, strong clips, or they just fall down. The clips I’ve had for years are finally breaking so I ordered these. They arrived today and they seem really strong and they’re also super cute. Unfortunately they are more of a medium-sized clip, not a large clip, and will not hold enough of my hair at once to be of use. I’ve included a photo so you can see the size compared to my hand. I’ll send these back and find something larger. For someone with less hair, or who only plans on using them for smaller “jobs,” they’re truly nice clips.

These are the best clips I've used. Please add them back, I haven't seen another like this with quality & durability. I last purchased these in 2022 & down to my last two :(
