I wanted 2 matching oven mitts, not sure why everyone is so cheap now and only sells one oven mitt with a potholder which is a great way to get burned when taking casseroles out of a hot oven! These mitts fit well and they are soft and pliable enough so you can easily get a good grip on anything and they go half-way op your forearm so no problem if something splatters. I feel really safe pulling things out of the oven, can't feel any heat at all. They rinse right off in the sink if you get food on them. I chose the black ones and they will last a lifetime, nice quality. I am a female with medium-smallish hands, but these surprisingly would work for a male as well - the pliability is the key, and they have a soft cotton interior.

My old fabric oven mitts had worn through at the thumbs, so it was time to replace. These Homwe mitts, with silicone on the outside, and cotton-polyester blend cuffs and liners, were the #1 pick on a “best of” list, for protection and flexibility. They are well priced, arrived quickly, and I love the red and black colors. Best of all, they work really well. I will be using them for a long time.

They’re comfortable for my medium sized (F) hands, they certainly protect from heat and they are easy to clean. Also they’re cheerful.

Love it! We use this product for grilling. If the flames spark up, the gloves protect you. Great for reaching to the back of the grill without burning your hands and arms too! Great product and price.

After years of using homemade knitted potholders that someone gave me as a gift at least 30 years ago, they started thinning and my hands were getting burned. After seeing these silicone oven mitts, I thought they'd do the trick to save my hands. They do a great job and food wipes off them very easily. The only downside for me is the size. I have small hands and they are huge. I frequently get the top of the mitts into the food I am taking out of the oven. That's how I know they wipe up easily. It usually isn't too much of an issue except when taking a cookie sheet filled with soft cookies out of the oven. I do smoosh a few. But I would recommend them. At least I know I will no longer get burned.

I've been making Dutch Oven bread and needed new oven mitts. After reading reviews I decided on theses. They've worked great handling hot cast iron. The silicone is flexible and helps to grip the pot securely. It is easy to wipe flour off too. I'm glad I chose these.
