Try as a mutant, great for wave riding small chop.

Just got my new Mako 150 2016 !!! Nice rocker, insane concave bottom, very nice finition cant wait to ride it !!!! Reason for not giving a 5 stars : footstraps, pads a nice but not sure yet on straps compared to what i had before....

The board is rock solid, smooth in the chop & waves. Highly recommend!

Bought a 2016 Mako King on a referral due to knee issues. Thought it would be my occasional board when the knees were bad. Turned out to be my all time favorite everyday board. It far outperforms the door boards on light wind days, slashes the waves in mutant mode and provides some of the softest big air landings you'll ever experience. I threw on a surf pad and ride it strapless, makes a pretty damn good surf board too. My only complaint is it took me a while to dial in the Bliss straps. I see there is new straps for 2018.

Simply an outstanding board. Head and shoulders above any other twin tip I’ve ever sailed. Sails well to weather, cuts through chop like a knife into soft butter, carves smoothly and leaves me feeling very in control. This board is an essential part of my kite sailing kit. I’d not leave home without it.My one beef, the foot straps were a tad finicky for me to settle into perfect adjustment. Probably my inexperience.

The pads and more importantly the straps are very easy to use and the finger loops in the straps make adjustments in the water fast and secure which is an upgrade from the other twin tips I have ridden.The rails are super thin, hold like crazy and slice through chop like butter. The board releases from the water very well, sliding transitions to and from toe / heel side are effortless and the thin rail really makes riding toe side easy. Upwind riding is excellent and it carves like a dream

The mako 140 is a chop eater, a beast at carving and boosting, has a silky smooth ride and is easy on the knees. All I can think about now is that mako feel.
