Julia Rothman Iron-Ons (Julia Rothman x Chronicle Books)

The transfer just burned.I bought these to do an iron on onesie station at a baby shower. The iron was on the right setting however the transfer is just burned in yellowed. They didn’t work on the shirts at all.

I bought these for a baby shower to decorate onsies. We had a blast with these!! Like several other reviews, I will say there are certain things you must do for these to work: 1-Don't use your ironing board, it's too soft. Use a hard surface with a sheet over it (ie. dining table). 2- Apply a lot of pressure for at least 30 seconds, a lot of pressure folks. 3- Once applied, don't let it cool before you remove the paper. We found that the image wouldn't stick if you waited for it to cool (you may want to wait several seconds, it's going to be hot, but don't let it cool).The only downside to this product is that there are only 2 of each letter, we wanted more! I originally went out and bought similar things from Joann's and Michael's, but the graphics were no where near as cute and I was spending anywhere from $1-4 for one image, this book is a great value. Does she have any more products? So cute!

Most are cute but didnt love all the images. Used them to decorate onesies at a baby shower and the guests loved using them. They were easy to apply and look cute on.

Some really cute images, some just ok. I had a lot of trouble ironing them on canvas bags. Some of the designs just wouldn't come off cleanly and stuck to the paper and tore. It could have been the canvas but I don't think so.

Used these for a baby shower onesie decorating station and everyone LOVED this idea. I cut them out ahead of time so it would be easier for the guests to use. Some of the designs were harder to work with than others...we found that some of the smaller or more intricate designs didn't stick as well so they ended up cut off or distorted. For the price I think it's worth a try though :)

I made a ton of shirts for my toddler! So fun!

although i wanted to love these because the designs were so darn cute, they just did not transfer easily and i ruined several onesies/bibs (they were for a baby shower) trying to get them to stick no matter how hard i pressed. the small ones seemed to transfer okay but the larger designs were a mess (half sticking or not sticking at all). luckily i tried it out before the shower but will have to come up with another activity with the 25 onesies and bibs I bought!

These are super cute. I used them to decorate onesies at a baby shower and people got really creative. They turned out really cute. (we also used fabric swatches). I want to note that they key is pressing hard when you are ironing them on. We had a hard time at first, but once we figured out it was more about the pressure than the heat, they worked perfectly. Would recommend! =)

Fun with the grandchildren

Ich bin sehr begeistert - nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten mit der englischen Beschreibung - funktionierten die Bilder auf den Shirts und Beuteln super! Das Geheimnis ist wohl, dass man wirklich nur max. 30 sekunden kreisend bügeln soll - auf keinen Fall länger! Anfangs haben wir zu lange gebügelt und uns dadurch leider 3-4 Shirts und schöne Motive zerstört. Schade, hätten wir nur früher gelesen! Wir haben übrigens ein sehr billiges Bügeleisen und ich befürchtete erst, dass es nicht heiß genug werden würde, aber das war ein Irrtum!Wir haben mit diesem und anderen Büchern dieser Reihe einen Kindergeburtstag (Mädchen, 9 Jahre) Motto: "TOP MODEL T-SHIRT - DESIGNER" gestaltet und auf einer anschließenden Modenshow die Models und Designer bestaunt und im Blitzlichtgewitter fotografiert. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß! Ich kann es ohne Einschränkung weiter empfehlen, die Mädchen waren begeistert ihr eigenes Give away individuell zu fertigen, dazu hatten wir noch ein paar moderne Armbänder - einfach nur WOW!

Großartiges Geschenk für Freunde die gern etwas individuell gestalten wollen. Die Motive sind großartig und irgendwie sind Bügelbilder doch wie eine Reise in die Vergangenheit.
