I have other smokers, this one rocks. 3 speeds, all powerful and efficient. USB Charging instead of wasting money on batteries is a plus. Bowl is huge. All parts simple to remove for easy (necessary ) cleaning.

Works perfectly! Used frequently to smoke a variety of meats. The included dome fits securely over a standard instant pot. Use a paper plate covering the bottom of the pot, place the meat on a trivet (I use the ones designed for eggs), load the Mitbak with chips (full), light with a culinary torch-the chips will fill the pot and dome in about 2-minutes. Let the meat smoke for about 20-minutes, then smoke it again. The results are amazing! Anyone that says you can't cold smoke meat with this thing, just doesn't know how!There are no cleaning instructions. Alcohol works well though, I replace the stainless steel screen every use mine. One inch pipe screens are 200 pcs for $6, so not worth the effort clean them, though it is possibleMy first one lasted over 3-years with heavy weekly use. It is still serviceable and I keep as a backup.Overall, it is perfect for drinks, cheese, meats... easy to mix varsities of smoke, too. Turkey breast smoked 60/40 with Cherry and Pecan turns out well!

I received and tried this smoker yesterday (3/1/23). The Mitbak is reasonably easy to use although the assembly directions are in tiny, light print and leave out a few details. When I used the URL in the instructions to get more details, the site says "Teapot Trading Coming Soon". Sooo - don't count on any company support for this product. The dome does not provide a tight seal to the counter/surface so it emits a lot of smoke into the air. If you have a sensitive fire alarm, plan to use this outdoors. As mentioned elsewhere, the dome is not very tall so plan to smoke things that are 4" tall or less. The unit, on "high" speed, produced a very substantial amount of smoke. I smoked 2 items together. The one in the taller container did not pick up as much smoke flavor as the one in the shorter container so I'm thinking smoking things in shorter, broader containers will allow more smoke to penetrate the foods/liquids. I really like the fact that the unit does not take standard batteries - it is USB charged and did not come with an adapter to plug it into a standard plug so it took a significant amount of time to charge. When the unit cools off, it is easy to remove the part that contains the wood chips and it is helpful to take a swab and clean out the debris under the opening. I hope this unit continues to produce ample smoke over time and that it will last longer than my last one (that was not from Mitbak)!

We did a lot of reading/research before we got this. I love it! The kit includes everything to start right away. (It comes with apple chips and I did buy a separate set of four other chips - I"m glad I did, it's a lot of fun to switch it up.) It's so easy to set up and put away, I can decide at the last minute to smoke something for dinner. We've smoked cocktails, salmon, pork, and chicken. I love having the dome instead of just the nozzle, like some drink smokers have. Anything that can fit can get smoked. The smoke fills up the dome and works its way out, so the whole kitchen smells delightfully like a campfire for a while. I used dried rosemary to smoke pork chops, and the kitchen smelled like bad weed for a while, but the chops were good! Smoked veggies and fruits have been more interesting than delicious so far, but I think it's the combination of which wood chip to which food, and which seasonings to add. It's so easy to do (and the wood chips last forever - you only need a little bit) that I can keep experimenting and figure it out.

I love it and use it every day. I tried it just for something different what I found was it changed my whole taste palette. My friend told me to try a fruit with a hardwood. Another words, I use either Apple or cherry with Hickory or mesquite. My personal favorite is cherry and hickory. The infuser comes with all four woods samples so you could try for yourself. It’s easy to clean as a battery life it has a rechargeable battery.

No cleaning instructions came with it. After watching a few YouTube videos on cleaning this machine, I realized how much easier it is to take apart for cleaning compared to others. I used a paper towel with 70% alcohol to clean the bowl. The bowl when lit brought back memories of my youth. I guess it smokes as well as the others. Easy to get smoking, hard part, what to smoke first. Great packaging and sturdy box. My biggest issue is with the fancy, crystal knob that screws on the top of the dome. What wee they thinking? First off, I dropped the tiny washer, had to search for replacement one. The huge design flaw for me was that when you put it all back in the box for storage, the dome no longer fits in the box due to the knob making it too tall for the box to close. If the manufacturer thinks I am going to remove that knob every time I'm done smoking, they are insane. My choices are finding a place for just the dome, find a new box that will fit, or cut a small hole in the top of the box so the knob goes through and will probably be broken first time I slide box onto a shelf. Not thrilled with any of those choices. Might not be an issue for most but I am a bit AR.

This smoker is pretty damn good! It has multiple modes at which the smoke can expel, and if you have your own letter yourself to go. Along with the wood chips that it gives you, you can use your hand to cover the smoke drink or get fancy with it. If you have proper smoking tools. The dome is really just for show, it doesn't necessarily get the smoke into the drink, so you can find other methods of use for that. I dropped this smoker like once or twice with use and it still works like a charm with no dents or bunks in the machinery. Amazing purchase!
