All-in-One Course for Children: Lesson, Theory, Solo, Book 3 (Alfred's Basic Piano Library)

I love using Alfred's All In One with my students. They are between the ages of 8-13. The theory lessons built into the book make is easier for them to learn their theory along with their music pieces- without the need for a separate workbook. I often supplement with additional pieces my students want to learn when they become advanced enough to do so. It's a great system and I've been teaching with it for four years. Covers all the basics and progresses at a decent pace- which helps prevent my students from becoming bored.

I really like these all in one books as it makes it easier to keep the lessons flowing well without going back and forth between lesson and theory books.

This is perfect for the kids on the piano and the adults!

Great piano course, especially for those without a teaching experience! It has each of the Lesson, Theory and Solo lessons put together in one book. I started this system with my children because I had never taught before and wasn't sure how to put everything together. I loved it so much that I use it with all my piano students that I teach now! It's also a cheaper way to start because you only have to get one book at a time! It also cuts out a little from the regular system, which moves so slowly, so the children can progress a little faster!

This book is the the third book in the series, check those out before buying this. This book is great, with many songs and activities. However, this book is more kid oriented, so as a alternative, check out the Adult All in one course instead. Otherwise, good book for kids looking to learn the piano.

I have many piano students of all different ages and have used many different books. These are the ones I always recommend. They are just easier to understand and don’t rush the students through.

look, these series booklets for learning piano are great, as long as you buy the proper order of the booklets and match them up properly, this is the best instruction I ever had for learning piano even though I'm an adult
