SES CreativeCarpentry Wood Building Playset

When we lived in Europe my son had a similar toy. He enjoyed building with it independently when he was one and a half. I was excited and surprised to find it here. The product turned out to be disappointing. Its components are too small for a toddler to handle independently. Lots of small motor coordination required. The wood is inferior quality. The holes are not all cleanly drilled. The pegs are plastic and not wood. Initially the pegs take a lot of muscle to operate. Pliers might be needed if pieces are diligently hammered in. I do not recommend it under age 3.

Very neat for those young carpenter children. I love it.

A gift.

This is a great concept, my girls were excited to play with them right away until we saw that some of the wood pieces were cracked and one even broke the first time we used it. The pegs got stuck in the wood pieces so we couldn't get them back out. Not worth the money in my opinion.

The product was too hard to use for a 7 yr old. We were very disappointed

My grandson loves to play with it

Couldn’t find anything (apart from plastic tools) for my 4yo who loves to build things all the time. Until I found this. He can actually put something together with these and bang it together with the hammer and take it apart again if he wants to. I’ll probably buy a second pack so there are more bits to build with though so pack could be bigger if I could change anything.

Meh.... Ordered December 16th and received it January 19th. No instructions with this product and not the easiest for kids to put together.

Set is difficult for a child to use. Difficult to get the pegs in and out of the wood to join the pieces. My son ended up just building models by balancing the blocks.
