Great for fitting onto the piercing thread for refilling Freon in a fridge.

Great quality but didn't work for my car's setup.
I ordered these thinking there were 2 different lengths for the low side. The long adapter makes it impossible to get a good quality quick adapter with a valve on the fitting because there isn't enough room with the shock tower on my '89 Deville. You can fit a cheap a/c fill hose with the low side only gauge built in on there though. But I don't know how you'd get the fitting on there to vacuum the system. So, this will not work well with a late 80s/early 90s Cadillac DeVille/Fleetwood. You'll need the 90 degree elbow adapter.

FIts my 1988 F150 5.0L XLT Lariat with factory AC
Getting a fitting for the low side - no problem, it is the standard fitting 1/4 SAE that everyone sells. But on this truck the high side is odd - 3/8-24. Actually smaller than the low side. Looking around, this conversion fitting is not easy to get.So this contains fitting that do fit both those. For the low side you will use the long thin one that has an inbuilt valve. So take the valve out of the old fitting. For the high side you will use the old valve - you might want a replacement.
