Excellent!
I use this microscope for watchmaking. It is absolutely perfect. In fact, it's an actual Game Changer for watchmaking. I can't believe I ever did this with only a loupe. A few tips for a new user:The microscope is incredibly easy to set up and fully adjustable. If you adjust it correctly, it can safely hang over the edge of your desk so you can sit fully upright in a comfortable chair while working. This would be the same for circuit boards, jewelry making or anything else where the space permits. For watchmaking, the 0.5 Barlow lens is critical since you need the space to work underneath the microscope. Also, my preference is NOT to sit directly above my items. Remember you have binocular vision with depth of field so if you're directly on top you can't work well. Angle the microscope a bit pointing 70-80 degrees instead of direct 90 depending on your preference.Pro Tip: Adjust the eyepieces all the way to their 'default' or 'original' point screwed clockwise. Now adjust the zoom to MINIMUM. Then adjust the main knob that says 'Tension' on it to be level top and bottom or in the 'center' of the mechanism's adjustment threshold, i.e. not all the way up or down, but in the middle. This is default ZERO stop. Now adjust the whole assembly's boom arm up or down until A.) you are sitting upright and comfortable and B.) you are closely or almost focused on an object sitting at work height. Now, and only now should you adjust your eyepieces to get the focus crisp and correct since you will not be able to focus fully by adjusting the boom (movements will be far too coarse!). Remember eyepieces should be adjusted for each eye individually with one eye closed at a time. Are you in focus? Okay, now zoom all the way in on your work piece at MAX magnification. Now adjust the Tension knob (the big one) to make focus crystal clear at MAX mag. Now use the zoom knob to zoom out all the way. You should still be in focus. In this way you can zoom in and out with very little adjustment IF your workpiece remains at the same working height. In other words, you should only be using the magnification knob most of the time, with fine adjustments for objects at varying heights on the table or workspace.Lastly, get a ring light, a great desk light as well that is moveable and a camera. Enjoy. I can't believe we live in a time where a microscope like this is sub $10,000. Amazing time to be alive.

Gamechanger
This microscope instantly elevated my ability to fix watches, its amazing what you can accomplish if you can see what you're doing. The microscope arrived well packaged and was not too challenging to set up, and it pretty simple to use. The image is very clear and easy to focus if changing zoom levels or working distances. I did purchase the reducing lens to give myself more room to work under the microscope, and I also purchased the LED light ring. All told, for approximately $500 you get a very capable microscope that will help you perform any task in watch making. For example, prior to buying this, I couldn't lubricate and replace a cap jewel to same my life, I must have ruined a dozen watches just because the cap jewel would fly away simply because my loupe didn't give me the vision required. Since buying the microscope, I haven't lost a cap jewel yet. If youre serious about watchmaking, this microscope will make your experience 100% better.

A complete set up
I purchased this microscope based on a review on another channel. The reviewer purchased this microscope, along with a .5X Barlow lens, an LED ring light for illumination and a digital camera. Ipurchased the same items as he, to duplicate his setup. After setting up the microscope, I had several small boxes left over. Opening one was an LED ring light. Another small box had a .5X Barlow lens, and another had a 2X Barlow lens. The final box had a camera, complete with a power supply, camera adapter and a USB cable. I returned all the light, lens and camera. The box also contained a plastic cover for the whole setup. None of these extra items were in the description, so I was pleasantly surprised. 5 stars and a big thumbs up.

Very easy to use and has a very good image!
I really like the ease of use and the image quality. I use a 0.5X Barlow lens and my workspace opened up quite a bit. Everything was packaged well and easy to setup.I don't like that you lose the left eye when you enable the camera function. The push pull rod for the camera view takes away the left eye when in the camera position. You can still use the right eye with the camera, but you will not be looking in stereo. Aside from that, it is great!

Missing Parts, no customer support
This product arrived with a missing eyepiece. Ampro requested a copy of my invoice, which I sent them, then stopped all communication. I've even tried emailing the CEO of Ampro, but gotten no response. Avoid this company!

Great for electronics work.
A decent scope - especially combined with a camera. I used an EOS M with an EF-M mount printed from thingiverse combined with the trinocular port for imaging. There was casting and manufacturing dust in several areas I had to clean out however. The images are clear - but the stand could use improvement. The knobs in particular seem udnersized - but larger knobs might cause the tapped castings to strip out as well.Great for electronics work when combined with a 0.5X barlow for more working space.

This makes watchmaking so much easier.
I like the ease of this unit, which I use for watchmaking. It’s heft makes for a steady presence on the bench. The optics are clear and easily adjustable. I especially like being able to view items without removing my eyeglasses. My daily use of the loupe has declined by 90+%. Less back and neck strain (not having to hunch over the impossibly tiny watch movement parts. Highly recommended.
