Lite Golf Green Reader

This green reader really helps to show the subtle changes in slope of the greens. I use it a few times per round when the slope looks different from different angles.

Easy to carry, easy to use.

I used to have a digital slope meter for accurately mapping putting greens, until one of my fellow caddies "borrowed" it on a permanent basis. Not wanting to spend another hundo and a half for a replacement, I gave this low-tech version a try. I've used it for 6 rounds while playing, and about the same while looping for non-competition rounds.When I'm playing, I'll read the green, determine where I think the break is, then validate my read with the level. It's helped me be more confident with my unaided reads. When I'm caddying, if my player voices initial distrust of my reads, I'll pull this device out and show 'em the break. Boom! Instant credibility. This disk fits very comfortably in my front pocket and is super quick to use.Used properly (and legally), the Sure Putt Lite Golf Green Reader is a handy tool for most recreational golfers who want to improve their "eye" for reading putts.

This works well but it looks like a hockey puck. It’s way too big to use during a round of golf. It’s very thick as well as a very large circumference. Far bigger than the standard ball marker. Probably six times the size of a standard ball marker…..maybe more. If you want to use this on a practice green it will work fine but nothing you could use during a round of golf

This ball marker/level either corrects a bad read or it confirms a good read. Detects subtle undulations in the green that are not obvious to the naked eye. I like to place it directly behind the ball and again about halfway to the hole. Had my best putting day in years using this thing today. If you struggle with reading greens, this is a must-have tool for use during practice rounds. It does the job I expected it to do.

This level worked as expected. It is a bit larger than a typical bubble level which is good for uneven surfaces. You can learn to use your feet to gauge slope by checking with this.
