Great for small spaces, to add some light detail to a background or even as a rim light.The only drawback is that they can’t be powered by mains while turned on.

Bought this to give me a little versatility when travelling light on client shoots. So far its exceeded expectations. Magnets on the back are stronger than imagined and have come in handy a couple times already. Light is built well and comes with a handy little pouch. All in all great value for money and well worth having in your bag - never know when it'll come in helpful!

Compact and good lighting output

Not only can be app controlled but use the aputure colour science. What do this mean? It's professional grade. It also has true bicolour daylight and tungsten modes. The included softbox is also super great. For the size they can't be beaten. See for yourself.Note: there is a firmware update to 2.1, fixes a issue with colour saturation.

Love this small light - works great for adding a bit more light into my scenes, with the addition of adding a coloured tint too. The apature app is a bit complicated for my needs but managed to work my head around it. It didn't come with shoe mount for your camera but you can pick those up for a few quid.

Portability and the use of the mobile app is really excellent

To my mind, this is the best small light available. I have my own YouTube channel and I struggled with lighting for ages. I then discovered this light. It is the perfect all rounder. It is great as a background accent light to add a bit of mood to a scene. However, it is also brilliant mounted on top of the camera. In fact, I replaced a far more expensive light with this one. I also does brilliantly as a fill light. (That said, it might be a little underpowered as a main key light if you have a darker area and are a little away from the camera.) But for everything you get - including the online controls, colour variation, battery life, etc. - this absolutely beats everything out there. I now have four of them. I really love this light.
