Yuki Tabata has outdone himself once again. Great art, foreshadowing, and storytelling. Volume 23 wraps up the first saga of Black Clover with 228 chapters in total.After the Elf Reincarnation arc, Asta and Secre find themselves in a demonic scandal against Damnatio and the Clover Kingdom Nobles. In hopes of clearing their names for the sake of the Clover Kingdom Asta, Noelle, Secre, Finral and Mimosa head to the Heart Kingdom to prepare for their 6-month training against Megicula and the Spade Kingdom!

Definitely very exciting especially where they picked off from the last volume to the ending of this one. Plus there were quite a few funny moments.

Love Tabata’s work and I can’t wait for future releases.

Book had an ugly Scratch/Dent that you could just see & feel while reading it. Very displeased, expected and mainly mind you because the book came out yesterday and I pre ordered it. I was expecting at least a nice copy...Guess I'll see how the next book comes. Aside from the products condition this manga itself was a wonderful addition!
