Best Damn Butane on the Market (and why it matters...)
Natural butane fuel has residue and the quality of the butane is related to how little residue crap is in the butane fuel. The butane has to be filtered to get that crap out. You know if you have crappy butane when your lighters stop working because the jets are clogged with crap. You can't always tell by the label on the butane can - I have a can of someone else's "triple-filtered" butane that has killed three of my favorite lighters.Vector Quadruple-Filtered Butane is the real stuff. First lighter I put this in, I flicked the switch and then WOW! - stand back - the flame was amazing! And there is something else, a nice, clean smell. You can tell by the smell. I can't describe it, but I now realize that the butane I had been using in the past had a dank, musky smell that meant there were impurities in those cans. You can turn the flame down and use a lot less of this stuff, and still get an impressive flame. This is the only butane you should use.

AWESOME FUEL!!
When I started my cigar hobby 12 years ago I had Colibri lighters (never again - JUNK!) so I used Colibri fuel (3x refined). I now have 2 Nibo (almost 10 years) and 1 Xikar lighter (a few months), each had flameout & starting issues. Read fuel can account for almost 50% of lighter issues. This is the highest refined fuel I could find (Xikar is 4x refined in comparison).IMPORTANT!! - Properly bleed each lighter. There is a great video on Youtube from Xikar on bleeding the feel and the propellant.I filled up with Vector fuel and no issues. Flame was consistent, no flameouts or "hiccupping". I am not switching fuels unless I suddenly start having problems.I wholeheartedly recommend this fuel. And the price is extremely reasonable when compared to Colibri and Xikar. If their fuel is this good I wonder what their lighters are like? Hmmmmmmm?

OUTSTANDING!
Just bought a Bugatti lighter (LOVE IT) and wanted to get the best butane in the world for the world's best lighter, so research led me to this Vector line, and, with all the great reviews, it definitely seemed worth buying, and I'm glad I did!Filled up the Bugatti and it fired up smooth as silk. I have used other brands of butane in other lighters, over the years, and having had quality control issues in the past, I was quite happy to learn about this brand, and become educated on the difference a good butane makes. The price on this is awesome, and the performance is absolutely reliable, each and every time. Stores charge twice the price for half the size of other brands, so this seemed like a top notch purchase, both for quality and value. Can't go wrong with Vector! Thanks Amazon reviewers for letting me know about this!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Good Stuff!
I needed a clean sorce of butane gas to refill a micro torch. Let me put it like this. I found it! No cloging of fuel delivery lines what so ever! I would like to see Vector make it available in a larger size. I do find it quite expensive but because refillable butaine comes in a variety of sizes and grades it dificult at best to determine what you are actually paying for. Like when you buy a gallon of gas, we can esily compare pricing even on premium grade. Someone needs to resolve this issue to assure customers are not getting ripped off. I'm not saying I was, I'm saying I have no clue and I feel it is way over priced compared to other brands that I have previously bought. Then again I need one thats refined to work in mini torches and this one does the trick. So its a matter of, you get what you pay for. Vectors super refined butane costs more in my opinion but one has to pay for quality. Were not talking a huge difference in price. To me a few bucks more for a quality product that I can be sure will work properly is well worth it. Concider the alternative, you clog up, mess up and possibly destroy your torch with an infirior product is not going to make you very happy. I got this advice direct from the torch manufacturer and I quote "I cant recomend a specific brand but make sure you use high quality butane refill to avoid fuel delivery system clogging". Thats enough for me. I cant find any other butain refil thats refined 5 times. Quintuple? Thats 5 right? I don't know but it seems to be alot of refineing going on here. The more it is refined the cleaner and purer it is. It is also nice to know that I am buying butane in a can and not butane combind with who knows what else but what ever it is it can ruin your torch. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is, I am a tuff cookie to earn 5 stars from me it has to be perfect. I want a larger size can and I want to see some priceing so I can be an informed consumer and understand what I am paying for. Yup I am picky I know. Like I said, good stuff and I will be ordering more! I hope ya'll have found this helpfull.

Received an old container with a faulty tip. Great fuel, will go local to buy in the future
I love Vector, and this particular fuel. I received an old can though. Even the packaging design is old. It sputters and spits and pops whenever I refill my torch lighter, or my SO refills his, or he refills our actual torch (though he really should be using up the last of his cheap butane for that considering what he uses it for). I will continue to buy this fuel but I will likely skip Amazon and the third party sellers in the future and go out of my way to hit a head shop or cigar store for the good stuff.

works great! I had four or five lighters that all ...
Buy this, works great! I had four or five lighters that all died using the butane you buy anywhere - you know, white can with red top and black lettering. Went to a cheap smoke shop, and that didn't work either. I was about to give up, and I have a number of dead butane lighters. It really is the butane. Filled up all my lighters, all of which were 'dead'. They ALL came to life on the first click. So happy, you have no idea.NEVER buying cheap store bought butane ever again. This stuff is great, two huge thumbs up.
