If it does in fact work with echo... they neglect to tell u how... even after multiple inquiries. It is very difficult to connect. Does not always show up on the app. And there it no support on the site for it.

Piece of crap. It worked sporadically for a week then stopped working. Unfortunately I am outside the return window and am stuck with this expensive paper weight.

It would be great if it worked as described. I would not buy again. It's like old tvs with antennas sometimes it works well, sometimes it does not. I'd buy something else if I were you.

The device itself seems fine, but the app needed to control and configure it is terribly buggy, unintuitive, and unreliable.You must first set up the the wifi for the device, which only worked for me after several tries, then add that device (why would I ever want to configure wifi for a device and then not add it), then wait for it to "log in" and go "online", which it almost never does. Schedules are difficult to configure by setting "on" and "off times and the device can't seem to sync with phone time. (If it's on WiFi, shouldn't it be able to sync with a global clock and know it's time zone anyway?) Even turning the device on and off manually through the button in the app can have over a minute of lag time. All the operations seem to "time out".I could make a better system myself with an Arduino, wifi shield, a relay, and a couple hours of programming.Go with the name brands, not this Chinese wanna-be.

We got it to work only once and ended up having to return it.

Did not work unless you want to sit 2 feet away.

The UI on the smartphone app is hard to use - cannot even cut-and-paste strong passwords into it when trying to change the security settings. This is a waste of $. I would buy a digital or analog timer or something with a better user experience
