I'm using these for centerpieces for a birthday party and they are very cute! They were easy to assemble. Clear instructions. The adhesive works fine but the paper backing is tricky to get off. There is plenty of fluff for stuffing as long as you don't over-stuff.

I helped hold felt pieces together and guided 4 year old— satisfying accomplishment for him. And fun thing to work on together. But he could easily do ALL the small motor parts of sewing and placing stickers by himself. Holes match up perfectly, plastic needles and floss easy to use. Lost an eye sticker on one animal first day. Some frustration when separating felt from adhesive paper, the adhesive stuck to paper on some things, , not the felt. But there’s enough scrap to make do. 7 year old mostly independent. It took up just the right amount of time, like a good project. When they were done with their animal, they were so pleased; and immediately wanted to start in on the next one. Likely any 9 year old who can follow age appropriate Lego instructions independently or is crafty, could stay occupied independently, and enjoy as a travel activity. Note: used real scissors, rather than supplied scissors

Really cute and kid friendly. But the felt pieces that are like stickers for the zebra stripes, eyes, noses, etc are extremely difficult to peel off. The sticky stuff wants to come off the felt versus the adhesive piece just coming away easily.Not sure if this box is fluke or sat in a hot warehouse. But it’s super annoying when you’re trying to finish the project and the pieces are nearly impossible to separate.

Loved this. At first thought I had to divide up and measure for each animal but no they give you a full skein of yarn- so very nice- I could send it home from school for the kids to finish it.

My four-year-old received this as a gift and we had so much fun sewing together. I did have to jump in and help A LOT so it is a supervised and adult-involved craft. However, my kid LOVED it and was so proud of his creations. I am 100% positive an older child could manage this perfectly on their own and find it quite enjoyable.

This set was a disappointment because the adhesive sticker decorations take a LOT of work to separate the backing, and usually the whole adhesive part tears off. My 8 year old has to have my help with these because of that issue, and they are experienced with real sewing. In addition, the instructions are very basic. It was advertised as a way to learn how to sew but the directions are literally tie a knot, sew, and then tie off another knot. This kit would only work if the child has someone there to show them how to sew. The stuffing was not enough so my child used their own supply. The finished products are cute and look like the pictures on the box. But there are less frustrating products out there.
