It is best option for piyano lesson for begining

Well constructed, the curriculum is laid out perfectly with examples, and exercises. I worked through this book to realign my knowledge before sitting my exam and it proved to be really useful.Don't forget the answers book to go with this and the pass paper book too, all will greatly increase your chances of reaching distinction, if not full marks!

I've been stung before by purchasing a book with little pages. This however seems reasonable for the cost - good structure, coloured pages & examples.Around 53 pages of information/examples/Q&As, along with 7 pages at the back of a test exam paper.For those self-studying, this won't come with free motivation :-) But you've made it this far - get it in your buy list and set yourself goals - you can do it!-1 star as the Answer book is a separate purchase - some may find this helpful as it could be temptation just to look - personally, I would like it all in one place.

Just started my grade 1 in singing and my teacher wanted me to get this book. So far, good quality paper!

Having not looked at music theory for over 30 years, this book clearly set out and explained all the relevant beginner topics - I was even able to play different scales and understand their differences - something which 3 years of secondary school music lessons never managed to explain !

well illustrated and my daughter is enjoying learning grade 1.
