A true classic in it’s own right
This is one of the best horror/sci fi anthology series of all time, not quite as thrilling as the original Twilight Zone but still an enjoyable addition to the genre.

Nice to have.
It is a nice collection of all the 80s twilight zones packaged well, and they play well. I highly recommend this purchase you will like the price.

Better Than You Remember
Oh yeah. Sure, there are dead-weight episodes in here, just like any anthology show will have. But there are some odd jewels in here, such as "A Small Talent for War," "Eye of Newton," "Nightcrawlers," and "Crazy as a Soup Sandwich." The amount of talent on hand is startling in writing, directing, and acting. Even when they dial it in, there is still a lot of quality oddities on display here, which I think is something that the other two revivals never tried hard enough to lean into.

great purchase
I grew up on the 80s twilight zone , and is hard to fin on streaming and im glad i found it. wuality is not the best, is a really basic conversion but i love the content and honestly the low fi kinda brings back so many memories. A small capsule into the 80s and a great piece for twilight zone collectors

Twilight Zone the complete collection svd
I think this one was from the 70’s. Anyway, if you loved the original series, this will not disappoint. Very entertaining. Arrived on time and in great condition. Happy!

It's nothing like the original show. However ...
The DVD disc set itself is 5 starts, no quality or play issues with the discs themselves. But this 1980s version of the Twighlight Zone is pretty cheesy and bears little reassemble to the original show. There's a lot of 80s era fad and tech stuff in these shows, such as scene of the space shuttle and desk top computers in many scenes. The 1980s version is still worth watching, there's some good stories in there. But the scenes and settings are not filmed as artistically, with as much care and attention to the set details, lighting and shadows, etc., as the original show. How this series was able to call itself the Twighlight Zone is beyond my comprehension. Money was probably the reason that mistake was allowed to happen. But, if you like collecting disc sets of old shows you enjoyed watching years ago, it's worth having some of the sequel series too if the price is right.
