Excellent Audio Converter with Clear Sound and Handy Controls
Iâve been using this 192KHz Digital to Analog Audio Converter for a few days now, and it has exceeded my expectations. I needed a way to connect my DVD Player and Roku TV to an older stereo system that only accepts RCA inputs, and this device handled the job perfectly. The converter is powered by a 5V USB adapter, which is included in the package. Itâs easy to connect to any standard USB port or wall adapterThe audio is crisp and clear with no noticeable lag or distortion, specially when playing music or watching movies. The built-in bass and volume adjustment is a awesome feature. It lets me fine-tune the output without needing to touch my stereo settings, which is super convenient. The bass boost adds a nice punch without getting muddy. It was truly plug-and-play. I connected the optical cable from my device into the converter, then used RCA cables to connect to my stereo. The included 3.5mm jack is a nice touch for headphones or smaller speakers. The unit feels solid and well-made. The knobs turn smoothly, and the connections are firm and reliable.A minor note I would like to add is to make sure you switch your audio output settings to PCM or LPCM when using devices like gaming consoles or streaming boxes, as this converter doesnât support Dolby or DTS signals from my experience, which is a slight downside.Overall, this is a great solution for older audio setups. Highly recommended!

Wow. Cant be beat for the money
I am an Old School audiophile. High school in the 70s with some Kenwood, Technics, and Harman gear. Have a nice set up in the house, but my shop had just a Bluetooth speaker. Went to my local thrift store and purchased some JBL T 52 speakers, a little Kenwood Integrated, and a JVC DVD. Sounds way better than a Bluetooth, but "grainy" at best. I have an expensive DAC in my home unit, but my goodness, for the money....this little guy cleaned up the sound, and the clarity and bass are so much better. If you have a simple little system, and you want your CDs to sound WAY better, pick up this thing. Of note: just make sure you have a unit with digital outputs.

Good Bass control but Frequency Response above 1kHz is not flat (RGBTEK 192KHz 24 bit DAC)
I've had this for over a year now but recently made frequency response measurements. The Bass control has a wide range. I like that it has a volume control, and both RCA and 1/8 inch outputs. But, the frequencies above 1KHz has a significant bump up in gain. Some people might want this, and I like the sound when listening to music. But, I recently needed to make Frequency Response measurements on some old Reel To Reel Tape recorders and I needed a flat response across the whole audio range. So, good if you are listening to music. Not soo good if you need a flat response for measurements.

No feedback vibration turned up all the way.
You can turn this up all the way without any feedback vibration. The tone controls are a convenient way to adjust it.It has a good clean frequency response.

To improve my rethink inexpensive ultimate 5.1 home theater systems
The media could not be loaded. I am using this digital converter to turn digital into analog for my 5.1 surround sound systems and the reason why I say systems I have two of them being used as one inexpensive ones with a preamp and a EQ along with a headphone volume control pre box connected to to the 5.1 home theater surround systems which I am using two of them instead of one to give me that Ultimate Sound something that I had rethinked and now with this converter connected up this is the most ultimate system that I have ever heard this system is an experience movie night is off the chain and what I mean by that it is the best the base that these two units give the clarity that they give along with the EQ and the preamp also the digital converter the digital converter has a volume and a base control along with RCA out hookups a headphone jack hook up oh and I forgot to mention that it has a coaxial input hook up this little unit is great to hook up analog systems especially a sound bar that's analog a 5.1 surround system like what I have that's analog a receiver system that's analog or anything other that has a coaxial out in an optical out that you can convert digital into analog what makes this converter stand out it has a volume and a base control so if the sound bar that you use all the surround sound system that you use don't have base then this will work perfectly for you the volume control is for the ones that may have the output of their sound coming through the converter kind of low you could turn it up or you could turn it down if it's too high but this is a great little addition to my setup and I think anyone else set up for the price and the easy hookup to use it so me myself recommends this little converter for a very good price to put in your setup it looks great it sounds great it's easy to use and the price is not so expensive it will do wonders to your system or whatever you use it for like gaming your television or maybe even other things that you can think of but for me my system is now something that's different from everybody else is out there inexpensive system with help from other units then turn this system into a ultimate Powerhouse I'm up there with the big boys and movie night has never been an experience like this I love this converter box I love this system and I'm going to see what else I can do with this so go out there and give it a try if you need to convert digital into analog this is the little unit that you can use it's great.$$

Failed in first use
This DAC failed after 30 minutes of initial use while working it into my setup. I have an Xbox 360 that I use for movies and some rhythm games like Rockband, Guitar Hero and such. This isnât the first setup like this is have and I just needed a basic DAC for the optical audio coming from the Xbox 360 to my setup. This unit worked fine for the initial test but started stuttering after about 30 minutes of use. Have several other cables, DACs, speakers, and all equipment needed to switch out and see what the problem was and it was sure enough the DAC I just purchased. Would not recommend this item if you are trying to get a cheaper DAC. Look elsewhere.
