Great mechanical pencil
I am a big mechanical pencil fan and love buying them. The Kurutoga is a gold standard pencil in the segment. The 0.7mm lead is rotated by the gear mechanism and stays sharp all the time.Good buy

Its totally worth the spend
I got this product for 600 bucks and initially, it seemed like quite an amount to spend for a pencil. (I mean you can get a regular 0.7mm mech pencil for 20-30 bucks) But using it sure is an experience. I absolutely love it and yeah it is worth the spend.

This pencil is my most regretful purchase
The very moment I held this pencil in my hand I realized that it has two big issues.1: It is thicker than most (if not all) pens and pencils that I have used so it is a little too uncomfortable to use (for a pencil which is as expensive as this one, this is a deal breaker).2: there is a small plastic cap on its back which covers the eraser, and without that cap, it becomes very difficult to press/click to push the lead. Realizing this, I tried my best to make sure that I never use the cap and never lose it, but sadly, a friend of mine borrowed this pencil and she lost the cap. Now, this super expensive pencil is just a pain to use because it had a important yet tiny part which is prone to getting lost. And also, this pencil is ridiculously pointless for drawing and if you write in cursive; because you will not be lifting your pencil frequently enough and so the lead will not rotate. If the lead will not rotate (enough) then you will face the same problem as you do with any other mechanical pencil. Overall, I do not think that I can recommend this pencil to anyone.
