I like this box
The media could not be loaded. I like the style of this. I purchased 2 . One was for my granddaughter, she had a nest of Blue tit the first year. I had to wait 3 years. Last year I had a successful hatch of Great tit. They are back in my garden this year, so hopefully they will nest again. I have other boxes , but no luck with those. I love in an urban area. Well made too. The video is the parents taking in food for their chicks.

Well built and attracted birds immediately
I put this up at 3pm and by next morning we had two bluetits checking it out. They have been back every day, going inside, pecking about at the entrance etc. I think it looks very favourable that they are going to use it for nesting. It’s solidly built and easy to put up. That’s all I can say for now but I think it was worth the money and will certainly last since it has been through some bad storms already.EDIT: Well, the blue tits did indeed use the box and had eight chicks (seven visible in photo). The only thing I would say is that the finish on the box hasn’t lasted well. It’s now November and in those months the finish is quite worn looking and you can see the wood is absorbing water somewhat in bad weather. Not an issue in the summer though.

This birdhouse represents a cavity in the tree, which prompts lots of bird interest.
Although a little more expensive than the average bird box , this one has sparked more interest, especially from my Great Tits. A very robust box also .,Although I write this in Spring, where birds are looking to nest, they would make ideal roosting boxes throughout the year.

Great design & construction
Extremely well built bird box. Makes sense birds will be more attracted to a natural shaped entrance than conventional round hole. Really like the two tone paint effect which again makes it look more natural. Only up so ready for next spring! Only thing I would change is how it is fixed to wall/fence. I drilled two holes opposite the entrance. I was then able to put a screwdriver through the entrance & screw it from the inside. Thus you are unable to see the screws plus they won’t get wet. I also stapled some spare pond liner on the roof for extra protection although it is not needed & only did it because I could.

Looks a mess.
This nesting box does not look like it does in the picture. The front aspect is covered in screws that are not shown on the amazon pictures. This along with the uneven and messy staining actually make it look very scruffy.

Birds of a feather
Definitely one of the better bird boxes available, will be ordering another couple for sure.
