The coat is fine,fit is great,disappointed there is no inside pocket and the lining could be more substantial other tan that great.

They work in heavy rain and are the best I have ever purchased. Lightweight and comfortable.10/10.

No inside pickets! I've inly got two pockets & it's a pain! Great jacket just give it more pockets.

Really good jacket and a great price too.. its very thin but keeps you dry. Would recommend a size up, that way you've got room to wear maybe a fleece or jumper underneath for extra warmth.

I tested this jacket in rather punishing conditions (i.e. during storms Dudley, Eunice and Franklin) and it held up okay. It's only 10k rated which isn't really suitable for such poor conditions.In summary, it did not keep me dry, but then in those conditions, it wasn't likely to. I was wearing 3 layers underneath and enough water came through to make my 3rd layer wet (not wet enough to wring out, but rather damp) but the 2 layers underneath stayed dry. So pretty resistant even in poor conditions.I'm not a huge fan of the fit or the fact the neck comes up so high. It's a decent price but certainly not a steal.

This is the second Berghaus jacket I’ve bought for my husband as it fits him well and stays looking smart for years. The only problem is that after a lot of wearing, the waterproof lining disintegrates. However, we both still think it’s the best available.
