good, natural coffee filters
We have a Mochamaster coffee maker and these filters work great with it. They are unbleached and glue free so they do aler the flavor of the coffee, They are hard to find, I'm glad Amazon caries them.

Not a big deal, but just a little better
I buy these cone shaped coffee filters because the have a huge and reliable crimp at the edge. These won't open a nd spill grounds when the hot water soaks them. I used to get them from my coffee supplier for years. Then I moved a long was away, and couldn't find them. Finding them on Amazon made my day.

Get the white ones!
Meh. There seems to be a myth that somehow brown filters are better. No. They look like a grocery bag and taste like it. Processing can be good. I bought these as a hold over when I ran out of whites (which I have to source elsewhere which is way slower, hint, hint Amazon) and kind of regretted this. Lots of paper taste, even after rinsing extensively. They still taste way better than Melittas or grocery store ones, but not tasting like chemicals isn't exactly a ringing endorsement. The Filtropa whites are truly amazing and leave basically no taste with one rinse -- buy them.Note: Single serving methods (pour-over, CCD) really make filter flavor noticeable. If you're brewing a lot of coffee in a drip brewer, it will be less noticeable, but why not just get the best?

Great Coffee. no bleach
Um. Not sure what aroma or odor other reviewers experienced. All I get with these is GREAT coffee in filters where bleach was not used in manufacturing ...

Strong Paper Taste
I mistakenly bought these thinking that because they were "natural" they'd have less paper taste than white ones. But this is not the case. I rinse them in hot water before use (to supposedly reduce the paper taste, and warm the coffee dripper), but you cannot dodge the paper flavor.OTOH, the white Filtropa filters are fab. Rinsed they hardly have any taste at all. If you can't find the white ones here on Amazon, look for them at Williams-Sonoma under the Moccamaster name.
