I bought these due to the original sealing ring which was clear turned yellow in time and smelled. I use the red for when making desserts and the blue one for meals. They fit great for my 8qt instant duo plus and duo

I don't know about anybody else, but I ordered the red+blue rings for our 8 quart Instant Pot from Amazon.ca and they are indeed genuine. The bag they came in is the same one a person would receive if they were to order right from the Instant Pot website. There are NOT a cheap knock-off. The thickness is the same as the clear sealing ring that came with our Instant Pot. The only difference is the colour. I am 100% satisfied.My only suggestion would be to ensure the seller of the item is actually Amazon and not some 3rd party seller. I have noticed that sometimes (and not necessarily with this item in particular) that if you just choose the cheapest option, quite often it comes from a 3rd party seller and not Amazon themselves. So educate yourself. Just because you buy on the Amazon website doesn't always mean the seller is Amazon.To assist anyone else who has difficulty with a smelly Instant pot: a cup of water, a cup of vinegar, and a cut up lemon tossed into the pot, 10 minutes on the steam function and it will removes any funky stink on the seal. Best to let it depressurize naturally for 10 minutes or so, but you can do it manually if you don't care to wait.Getting some smell is inevitable. To keep it down as much as possible (so you don't have to do the water-vinegar-lemon+steam trick I just mentioned very often) is to remove the seal after using the IP for a meal. Wash it with soap and water, let it air dry, reinstall it on the IP, and then store your IP with the lid inverted (i.e. upside down.)I hope that helps. Have fun with your Instant Pot.
