I have callouses forming constantly on my heels and both sides of my feet and have been struggling for years to stay on top of them. I have narrow, awkwardly bony feet so it seems unavoidable no matter what shoes I wear or how much lotion I put on. I tried regular pumice stones (ineffective), rasps (effective but gave me raw spots on my feet which calloused worse than ever so that backfired), and more recently electric devices (loud, effective but slow and awkward to maneuver). I was skeptical but tried these because the price was right and the glass files were about the only thing I hadn't tried.First attempt, paired with soaking in epsom salt and a callous remover gel. The callouses practically slid off the bottom of my feet. It was kind of like gross magic.Second attempt a week later, I tried doing a tiny bit of patch-work on dry feet to see what happens. Still works! Just a little less effective. Probably better to follow directions, but I can't be the only one who tries to skip steps sometimes.Jury is out how long it will last since other reviews say they wear down over time, but I see this being something I'd definitely buy again when needed.

After years, okay decades, of using pumice stones, diamond buffers, acids and getting pedicures I bought this. I figured for the price it couldn't hurt to try yet another thing to buff feet. The tool for the heel is magic...truly incredible! I soaked my feet then buffed. Maybe 5 minutes to take of decades of build up.

These files are wonderful- im buying them for all of my friends and family. Wonderful calous removal and your nails don't weaken or fray from filing them

Leaves skin soft and smooth. I love the small files for my nails; they do a great job of sealing the edges. 10/10.

**UPDATE** I solved the one problem with this. I attached one of my cellphone ring holders to it. Now I can grip it better when using it on my feet & I can hang it up in the shower.Wow. Wow, wow, wow. This thing makes my feet look like I just had the world's best pedicure. My feet have not been this smooth and soft since I was a kid. I'm 60+ and my feet looked like they belonged on Godzilla. No matter how many creams and shavers and files I used at home, either the effect was just so-so or did not last. Ten minutes using this in a warm foot bath and even that knuckle of a callus on the side of my foot is gone.I am putting my bad-foot business out there so that others will know how awesome this thing is. I'm not brave enough to show you any BEFORE pics because not everyone would survive the trauma. Trust me when I say that this tool is amazing.Now, I do plan to look for one that has a handle. It was very awkard to use this one. It was hard to hold it at the correct angle. Because I was using in water, it kept slipping out of my grasp and, when I could hold onto it, my hand got tired.BTW, the 2 smaller files are useless, IMO. I didn't need them at all. Maybe someone would use them, but the larger tool is the only one I needed to take care of my feet. The small ones might be good for toenail filing. I have a set for my fingernails and those shine the nail. These did not shine the nail and are too small for the feet.

I’m a Nail tech and this foot file is amazing. Stop using those cheese grater looking ones for your feet. These are way better and make your skin super soft. Takes the dead skin off. Just soak your feet 10-15 mins and put some soap in the water and scrub away. You can probably use this every other day or 3 times a week to maintain but don’t go too crazy. At night put some lotion containing urea on your feet with some aloe socks. Do this and your feet will be super soft.
