Hubby was satisfied with this maple syrup.
It’s hard for me to comment on a product I don’t like, and I have not liked maple syrup for well over 60 years (maybe because of that awful “pancake syrup” my mother bought - yecch!). My husband supplied the stars for the syrup, but I claim some credit because I felt the bottle deserved 5 stars for its flip-top lid that doesn’t leak when it is upside down on the shelf, and because the bottle is really quite attractive. That is the end of my commenting on this maple syrup, and unfortunately, it is the end of hubby’s too, because he just left.In his youth, hubby tapped maple trees and boiled the sap down into maple syrup, so I consider him to be our little family’s expert on maple syrup. The syrup he made was not quite as thick, therefore, it also wasn’t quite as sweet, and that is exactly how he prefers it. Maybe I’ll develop a desire for the sweet, golden syrup one day, but I seriously doubt it. I will, however, continue to buy this for him because the price is right (at least it was the day I bought it). If you like the flavor of REAL maple syrup, instead of maple flavored corn syrup (gack!), you will probably like this too.THE FOLLOWING IS NOT A REVIEW, BUT IS MERELY REMINISCENCES FROM AN OLD WOMAN:Maybe my overpowering distain for maple flavor came from the sickeningly sweet crystalline maple sugar candies that our grandparents always brought back to the five of us kids as a treat from their Vermont vacations. I traded them away or threw them away, but only after choking one bite down just so I could honestly say I ate some (though I never confessed that I hated them, so next year,...same gift! Had I been a more confident pre-teen, I would have said, “Will you please bring me dark chocolate candy instead next time?” No, I’ll bet the chocolate would have been Vermont maple syrup filled, so probably not at all an acceptable alternative. I would have much preferred a little book, or perhaps a pretty top emblazoned with a State of Vermont map, or even a bag of Vermont nuts. No, I continued with the forced smiling while trying to appear grateful, all the while trying to hide my disappointment. My brothers and sister liked maple sugar candy, so at least they were happy, especially when I gave them mine. Oh well. I enjoyed the stories they came back with. Grandma was an amateur genealogist, so they spent a lot of time roaming old cemeteries looking for headstones of long gone relatives, and those stories were golden.

Mold.
This is the 2nd bottle I’ve ordered that has molded. I’ve never had syrup mold before. Imagine how disappointing it was to pour it on pancakes and then have to throw it away. Also, it is a shockingly small bottle for the price.

Crack for pancake lovers
My husband is a self-appointed maple syrup expert and this is his favorite. I like that this product comes from small family farms and the taste and quality are fabulous. Definitely a re-buy

Smaller than I thought, but good quality
I should have paid more attention to the actual ounces of this, as it was much smaller than anticipated, but the taste is good. I am happy with it, as I don't use syrup very often, so this amount will last me a bit longer than say, a whole family.Good quality. Arrived on time.

Best organic maple syrup without added sugar especially after comparing to others
Only ingredient is organic syrup with no sugar added, which is not easy to find. And when you compare the taste to other brands, you can really tell the difference in quality. I use this for all my desserts. When I tried another one highly rated and labeled organic "Grade A, formerly Grade B" that was a lot less expensive ($6 less for same 32 oz), it was sickly sweet like sugar or something chemical had been added. (I'd say that brand was still Grade B.) Coombs is the best quality I've found in sugarless syrup so far (and the price just went down $4 since I last bought).

Opened the lid to find mold
Mold, mold, mold! Exp date was in 2021. Ordered this in 2019. Two months later opened it for some pancakes delight... Terrible mold! Was not sealed either which is what probably cause the issue in the first place. Am I getting my money back? I guess not. Don't buy from this company. Questionable at best..

Too expensive for the size bottle.
Haven't tasted the grade a yet. Pay attention to the size! The ones at the store are twice as much product for the same price. I was duped

Smaller bottle higher price
I’ve purchase this before and it was twice the size bottle for way less. I won’t buy this again and would not have this time had I known they made the bottle smaller. Again they also raised the price a lot.
