Car Stereo Amplifier 8" 5" Cross Flow Cooling Fan (8")

Had a amp that was overheating so I decided to get this fan. all you have to do is Hook the (Black-)wire to the ground on your amp. (Red+) wire to your remote wire on your amp and it will turn on and off when you turn your car on and off. the wires are kind of short so you might have to use extensions and connect the wires together. You can hear it when the music is not on but I don't mind because when I cut the car off it lets me know that the fan is off also. But the item just arrived today and I hooked it up so I will see how it works out and I will give a update. The date is 5/17/24..

I used for a subwoofer connection as speaker connection was not big enough for dual 8 gauge speaker wire

I purchased this for a 2000 W RMS Class D Monoblock Subwoofer Amp that was overheating quickly and shutting down. The amp was way bigger than the fan and i figured the fan would be too small and or not push enough air to keep the amp cool. Was I wrong. This small fan completely stopped the overheating. It fixed the problem. I will be purchasing another one of these for another amp i have. Do not make the mistake by its small size that it wont do the job. It surprizsed me.

Have previously purchased these type of fans from this company before I’ve had two that have worked for quite some while one recently broke. I purchased another one that fan came in with the wires, cut off and not working. They immediately sent me a return and shipped another fan out that came in and was not working.. I don’t know what is going on with this company but not testing this product to make sure it works before it leaves. The warehouse is insane.

I’m using this fan to keep a Skar RP2000-1D from overheating. I’ve had a PAC Audio CF-1 fan for a few years but all of the bass caused the thin cheap wires to snap off at the PCB, PAC doesn’t sell that fan anymore so I bought this one. This fan has two tabs the hold on to the wires so it should be more durable in that aspect.I only gave this item three stars because there are a ton of cosmetic issues with it. The chrome plating is scratched all over the place, enough to expose the base material which looks to be copper or something like that. Other than that, it works well and I think it should last for quite awhile.

This is one of my best items I have ever bought. My audio amplifier stays nice and warm as it should be. This fan blows a lot of air for as small as it is. It is also small enough to fit perfectly next to the amplifier. Buy this "asap" if you have an amplifier that you hit hard with.
