I've been using my Ecollar with the regular prongs for my Great Pyrenees mix and have had trouble getting reliable contact/stim without making the collar uncomfortably tight. I always had seen the longer prongs recommended for just longer haired dogs or huskies with really thick coats. My dog has a shorter coat than a typical GP and not abnormally thick... But I was so tired of contact issues that I decided to try these.... PROBLEM SOLVED! Now i can depend on my collar to work when I need it to and my dog is happier knowing there is consistency.... And he gets to wear it a little looser and more comfortably and fully enjoy his off leash hikes!I docked one star because I really don't think these tiny things should be so expensive!

Dig in to GSD neck to deep to get collar tight enough. Seems to be good quality though.

I bought this because i believed it was a 2 pack, as in 2 sets. This is just one set for one dog collar, don't be misled.

These are very intermittent for my Pyrenees. He can definitely feel the vibration mode now, but it's only on occasion that the stimulator makes contact. Not exactly the fault of the product so I still gave it 5-stars. I may just need 1" contacts.
