This product came exactly as described. I’ve been using it for quite some time now and in the Florida hot sun it has not melted to my dashboard at all even in over 100° weather for months. I keep a box of Kleenex on top of it so my Kleenex won’t slide around. Is a perfect size. It’s not in the way and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do I would buy this again if I had to, but luckily it’s gonna last such a long time that I won’t need to! I am actually using this on my bedside table to keep the power brick from my laptop from falling off. This woks very well for that purpose! It is VERY sticky! and works very well! When I have peeled it off to reposition it, it left no residue behind. It is also a pretty good size. This would work well in a car on a dash.

I do like these very much. The one drawback (and I'm not sure if it's just the nature of the material or not) is that if you are using them on your car dash like I do, you do have to buy new ones roughly every 12 months. That because the sun degrades them over time and the silicone melts and becomes gummy and then makes whatever you have sitting on them sticky. Before that happens, though, they do work well to keep things in place. Just know that these will be an annual expense, not one-time, so it's good that they do not cost a huge amount of money.

Be 100% positive you have this in the right place before setting down... Both sides are stupidly sticky and will vehemently adhere to whatever you set it on. 'Dusting' one side and wiping the other with isopropyl alcohol did nothing to tone the stickiness down. The only way to get it off the surface was with shear force, causing it to rip / split into numerous pieces. Not worth the money spent. Your phone / keys / etc should be able to sit on it and not require the force of God to remove from it....

he idea behind this dashboard anti-slip pad is great, and it does work to an extent. It holds lightweight items like sunglasses and keys fairly well when the car is parked or driving slowly. The texture looks nice and blends in with the dashboard.However, during sharp turns or sudden stops, heavier items like a phone can still slide off, especially if the dash surface isn’t completely flat. Also, it tends to attract dust and lint pretty quickly, which takes away from the clean look.Overall, it’s an okay product for the price—just don’t expect it to keep everything in place under all driving conditions.
