Not easy to assemble but worth it
Had not realised it would arrive in quite so many parts! The instructions were small diagrams only so not easy to follow. Took ages to assemble, especially as I had to keep undoing stages I had misunderstood through lack of clarity. However, the effort was worth it. Had been missing my previous kneeling stool, which I'd used daily for 30 years until it collapsed. Perfect for comfortable working at the computer.

Comfortable
I was trying to decide if I should purchase this item as I have disc issues so sitting for ages hurts my coccyx. I decided to take a chance as the price was brilliant but you only get what you’ve paid for well, I’m pleased I took the risk. Iv not used it for a long period but can say it’s very comfortable to sit on. I didn’t get any pressure on either parts of my body. The padding is about 2.5 inches which surprised me how thick it was. It is well made and comes with a tool to do up the coach bolts which are also good quality. It arrived a day early which was a bonus. My husband put it together for me without any issues even the instructions are easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this stool.

Probably good if you are short and light
Easy enough to assemble, however after living with it for a week or so, there are a couple of things to consider.Height:While it is height adjustable, moving it from the lowest position stops the wheels from functioning, as it changes the rake angle of the wheels, due to the scissor action of the adjustment. When at the higher positions, the wheels will only allow forward and backward movement.Foam:The foam in the cushions is not really dense enough, particularly for the knees. I would imagine based on a week's usage that after a couple of months, there will be no support at all.Width:It's narrow. This is both good and bad. It's unassuming in stature, but risks being unstable when at higher adjustments, particularly because the wheels cannot move the chair sideways. If you're on a budget, it does the job for light usage. On balance, I would not buy this item again, but will make it last me for as long as possible before replacing with a better one.

Flatpack plus carpentry
Prompt delivery. Well Packaged. All items present. Instructions adequate. The recesses in the timber for the nuts at either end of the two long assembly bolts were not deep enough to enable the threads to catch at either end, this necessitated using a 14mm dia drill to deepen the recesses in order to correct the manufacturing error. Once assembled it was fine. Some of the staples that hold the fabric on the underside of the cushion are too close to the edge and the fabric will in time become separated. Overall I am pleased I kept the product and didn't return it. I am fortunate enough to have a good selection of tools. Would I recommend it? - yes - overall well engineered just a shame it was let down by the points I mentioned.

A bit cheap and flimsy
Feels flimsy. I'm 100Kg and that is the upper limit. I should have paid a bit extra and bought a steel framed one. Not much padding in the cushions and the wood finish isn't great either. The instructions took a couple of read-throughs before they made sense. Numbered stickers on the components would have been much slicker. I suppose it is adequate for the money, but for someone a bit less than 100Kg. Last thing - never lean back on the stool. The casters shoot forward and you go slinging off the back of the stool and onto the deck. A warning would have been nice.

Confortable even if a bit wobbly
Relatively solid with good/firm cushions pads (I've seen similar models with less good ones). Some details aren't perfectly cut - small chips in the wood - or designed - the height adjustment might deserve a couple of washers and it has a smal misalignment.Overall anyway it work well. Just beware that it's less stable than a regular chair.PS: people who have the wheels pointing in the wrong direction haven't assembled it properly! It's not a defect of the product, just wrong assembly.

Budget shouldn't mean poor quality
Bought this to try as I work at a PC all day and my back was starting hurt due to tight hip flexors.Assembling this late at night is not recommended - the assembly instructions are poor quality images so it took a few attempts to get this right. One of the seat screws doesn't bite when affixing through the frame, but does when you screw it directly into the seat so the hole placement is misaligned. Contacted the seller so will review this once contact has been made. It's obviously a different way of sitting so will I guess it will take a while to get used to sitting this way.The contact against the shins is the difference and by the afternoon it was becoming awkward. At the moment I'm not overly impressed with the product but will see how it goes.EDIT 04/01/2022Prompt reply from seller and replacement seat sent out. However, tried replacement seat and bolt still not biting correctly. Also had to retighten the wheels' cross beams to the frame.
