Q: Why exactly aren't these compatible with fully modular psus? i'm seeing many reviews of people using them with fully modular psus just fine.

They just don’t plug into the psu directly. You have to have the cable from the psu for vga. Then plug in to the vga end of the cable.

Q: I'd assume this would be needed to power up the upcoming nvidia 3080 gpu. am i correct?

This cable works with nvidia 3080 gpu, but it depends on what type your power supply is. Your power supply is common non-modular PSUs, right?

Q: Does this cable work with evga 1600 titanium psu and 3090 cards?

Cable works with almost any power supply, and video card, 6 or 8 pin.

Yes, it does work with 3080 graphics cards. This cable only compatible with common non-modular PSUs and semi-modular PSUs with PCIe 8 pin male cable; (Note: It does not work with Fully-modular PSUs.) please carefully check your psu type before placing the order.
