Not sure why you would do that but prob not as they are fragile

I did not sanitize by boiling or baking. I just washed thoroughly before using for my sulcata tortoise. It is a good feeding platform because the surface is textured and it helps keep the tortoise's beak trimmed.

Q: Will this get hot under the heat lamps?

It actually gets really hot. I would not recommend putting it under the heat lamp. I keep mine away from it.

Q: Will it heat up with a floor heating mat?

Definitely, it’s a heat conducive rock.
