Perfect size
I love the small size that fits in my junk drawer, but doesnβt get lost. It is a little powerhouse and I sharpened all my knives in a short amt of time. Not sure if it does scissors , but going to try it on some older ones.Great price! Quick delivery!

A modern, low-cost way to keep mainstream kitchen knives and pocket knives sharp
If you have expensive hand-crafted knives, you probably want something more elaborate, but for everyday cutlery used in a kitchen, plus everyday-carry pocket knives, this tool provides a no-fuss, no-skill way to keep them sharp.

Works great
I bought this sharpener for camping, it's small lightweight and easy to use, I use it at home as well, works great, mine didn't come wit the chain though, which would make it easier to keep track of

They're Small -- Get Two!
It works just like it's supposed to; it sharpens knives. Our family hunts hogs and we have an assortment of knives for different things, in and out of the kitchen. We have a sharpener in the kitchen and one in each hunting bag to take into the areas we hunt. They're compact but easily held. Highly recommend!

Good, with a couple caveats
As others have said, this is more for maintenance sharpening, and probably won't be enough to renew a thoroughly blunted edge. Seems to work quite well for what it does do though. On a cosmetic note, he rubber grips are actually dark green, not black as they appear in the photo. Two caveats:1) This sharpener (and other similar ones) will only work if the blade's edge has an angle equal to or narrower than that of the sharpening rods. If the existing edge angle is wider/ more oblique than the rods' angle, you'll just be polishing the spot where edge meets the bevel instead of the actual cutting edge. I suspect this is the cause of the occasional "doesn't work" negative reviews for sharpeners like this.2) Because the rods are offset, there is a 4mm gap between where they touch the blade on their respective sides. I.e. the right side rod will be touching the blade 4mm in front of where the left side rod touches. This means the last (and first) 4mm of each stroke will wear unevenly, so you have to pay special attention to the tip and base of the blade when using this. Alternating strokes or sets of strokes going towards and away from you (instead of all in one direction as the directions suggest) would counteract this and give you more complete sharpening at the tip and base. Though, of course, you should do this carefully in distinct strokes, and not simply saw the blade back and forth in the sharpener.

Didn't last
The sharping rods on the ceramic side didn't last long. I thought it was dirty but after closer inspection I could see the ceramic was chipping on both sides. I only used it to sharpen smooth bladed steak knifes. It did work good for a short time but not long enough.

Compact and very effective!
Traditionally I use a sharpening block, however, I wanted something that could help give me a more refined sharpened edge and this product delivered just that! Within 2 minutes I was able to sharpen both my Leatherman and Gerber multi-tools, and my utility pocket knife. Now they perform more like razor blades, entertainingly sharp! Due to its compact form factor, this is something I can easily throw into a sling backpack or vehicle center console, Awesome form factor!

Sharpens our various knife blades!
We already have the other AccuSharp Pro Knife Sharpener [one with the rubber handle on it]. Love that one. Keeps our knives, even serrated ones sharp. We decided to get a second one and put the first one in the gardening shed. Have tried other sharpeners but this one outweighs them all. Easy, smooth to operate, does a GREAT job and sharpens multiple types of knife blades, sizes, grass sheers, etc. It works fantabulously! Would recommend it to anyone.

Cheap but quite good at the job.
Have had many knife sharpeners over the years and usually ended up disappointed with the sharpness but this one actually seems to do the job. I have tried it on my Swiss Army knife and kitchen food preparation knives and with a couple of runs through the coarse and then half a dozen through the fine apertures brought them all to reasonable sharpness. Very good

Simple and effective
I have had this for about 6 months and it has been very effective so far at returning a nice edge to my kitchen knives. I haven't tried it on anything different or more challenging. It's easy to hold and use; I was a bit concerned by the photos that it may be possible to slip and cut myself, but it's very "grippy" and safe to use.

S'okay
Kitchen knives and fillet knives should do well, but hunting and survival knives may not fit in the guides. The sharpener grits are what I expected and wanted, but stout blades will have trouble.
