Slowly figuring out
trying to upgrade but the soldering is a challenge when I shake .

Works good but case is useless.
Worked as 2.0 no problems (4 wires). Same is for 3.0 (Had problems to find correct wiring). Attached wiring worked good as OTG 3.0, used Micro USB 3.0 to Type C cable.By removing 56k resistor and soldering 5.1k to ground works as OTG no problems.The case will not fit anything, just used two component glue to fix everything together.

Port case poor quality
Only using these for power, not data. So can't comment on that aspect. Vcc and Gnd pads are not labeled like what's pictured in description. But worse, the plastic case is poorly designed and all crack fitting them together. Also need to fill cavity with hot glue or port can be pushed back inside. And no way to pull it back out without destroying it. With trial and error was able to make them work but would not buy again.

Works, fitment is not great
The USBs work fine, the plastic housing is one of the worst I've seen though and it doesn't even fit together properly. I had to jam it together with electrical tape just to make it stay together.

No instructions on how to assemble, and the parts do not go together at all ! I threw them in the trash

Type-C Connector: okay. Housing that is supplied is useless.
I would not recommend, the housing does not clamp (too loose) onto the PCB/Male Connector part.

Don't Buy - the connector is incompatible with the housing
Read before you by: they tell you that the connector is incompatible with the housing and they expect you to do some work to make it work. It is unethical to sell things that don't work together. I wished I had continued with my project when I first bought this - I would have sent every one of them back,
