The box and product inside do not state. Just says no phosphates and "natural power.''

Q: Why is this item so much cheaper than same thing in different package?

The price is a marketing thing HOWEVER... THEY WORK. All the scum on the rubber underside gone... all the odor from both sides of sink GONE. Don't let the price fool you to think it is inferior because it is not. GREAT PRODUCT. To keep the freshness use the glisten gel filled refreshner. Lemon is the best for fresh clean smell. I use cleaner monthly and the gel freshener as needed. Good luck

Q: Can this be used in the toilet?

No, this 100% can not be used with a toilet. It requires the garbage disposal blade to grind the package, mix up the ingredients, and actually clean the disposal. This will probably clog a toilet.

Glisten Disposer Care Foaming Cleaner is specially formulated and designed to deep clean the disposal by eliminating food and grease based build-up and residue typically found within the disposal and drain pipes. Disposer Care uses hot water and the blade action to create a foaming cleaner to scrub away odor-causing build-up leaving the disposer and drain pipes smelling fresh. Disposer Care is not intended for use within washing machines.
