I was nervous ordering this little console, as there were no reviews, and I own “real” gaming consoles (Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, Oculus). My expectations were low, but I wanted something that I could bring with me on hikes, which wouldn’t be too consequential if it were to drop or go missing.My expectations were actually exceeded. The first device had a couple issues (one dead pixel in the center of the screen, a charging light that won’t indicate a full charge, and the coloring on the LCD screen seems to be a bit dark, maybe missing the vibrancy of the Blue or Green—can’t quite put my finger on it). However, the “500 games” seem to mostly NOT be duplicates. I have spotted a few repeats, but for the most part, you seem to be getting hundreds of unique games here. Yes, that includes Mario (1,2,3), Donkey Kong (1,2,3,4), Tiny Toon Adventures, Tetris, Contra, and just about any other 8-bit game you remember if you’re a child of the 80’s or 90’s. Even Popeye, which is a game I played with my Dad when I was 4 years old, so that was a super fun and nostalgic find on this device!I contacted the seller (third-party) about the little issues with the device, and they replied right away, within the same day. They offered to send a replacement, which impressed me very much, that they cared and stood behind their products. The replacement device arrived today. The pixels appear to all be working, which is excellent. The charging light still doesn’t seem to function properly on this new device, but that’s not too big of a deal. I’ll just leave it charging when not in use. The LCD screen is equally dark as the first one. So this lack of vibrancy may not be a bug, but rather a feature (either of the screen, or of the coding of the games).All in all, I’m very happy. The customer service is fantastic from this seller. The device, while imperfect, is actually super fun and brings a lot of bang for your buck. The controls are very responsive and I can play my favorite games without any hitches. Plus, the clamshell design is FANTASTIC for throwing into your pocket for a hike. I’d definitely recommend this if you’re on the fence.

Purchased this for my daughter to have something for fun Fridays at school so she wouldn't take an expensive electronic. She enjoyed a few games and had fun playing with friends. The bonus controller is nice for 2 players and the TV hookup worked as well. Lots of old NES type games to choose from. The battery is rechargeable. The buttons work well.Now for the downsides, unfortunately: the battery has a very short life. After 30 minutes, it was dying down. The games aren't able to save like the real thing, so keep in mind these are just a fun time-waster. After 3 months, the screen turned white at home and isn't working at all. No dropping or getting wet, just normal gameplay. I was hoping to get more than 10 fun Fridays out of it for her, but it's a goner.A cute and fun little item, but not worth the price for how short-lived the fun was.

The charging port broke after two days. We weren't hard on it or nothing but the charging port broke inside and I didn't have a printer to return it. Poor quality but the games were fun for the 2 days.

I bought this for my kids, secretly knowing I was going to use it. Lol 👌 Now it's a family favorite. Even my husband picks it up every now and then.

The media could not be loaded.  Update: the customer service is great! They are sending us a new one.Update 2: after 2 weeks the handheld is doing the same exact thing as the first one.The screen will keep dimming and goes black but the sound stays on. My son loved receiving this as a Christmas gift but it doesn't stay on longer than 20 minutes. Once it hits the black screen if you turn it on and off again it'll turn on dim and then to a black screen quickly.

I didn't pay much at all for this item. And it works great. Love all the old school games. Pleaty of games to choose from. Planning to buy one for my sister.
