Here are the operating instructions we enclose with each Pocket Size FlossPartner: ********** 1) Find any source of clean water – faucet, bottle, hose, clean natural stream, lake, or sea. 2) Pull (remove) plunger from unit. 3) Fill unit with WATER or MOUTHWASH. 4) Insert plunger gently back into unit until engaged. 5) Gently flush between teeth. Don’t touch your gums, keep the curved plastic tip about a quarter inch from your gums and GENTLY push the plunger through until empty. 6) Refill and Repeat the process as needed until all desired areas are flushed. You’ll get the rhythm down with a little practice. With this pocket-size FlossPartner, you’ll be able to flush your entire mouth in 1-2 minutes. Recommended for adult use. INCREASE FLOW by cutting back the curved tip just a little bit, best using scissors. Cut only small pieces at a time and test the flow with each cut. Q: Can this be used by someone wearing braces?

Hi. Thanks for your question. The simple answer is yes! The water jet can deliver mouthwash or plain water to areas all around fixed braces and dentures.
