DreamLineEncore 50-54 in. W x 76 in. H Semi-Frameless Bypass Shower Door in Chrome, SHDR-1654760-01

This shower door is well made, looks great, installed relatively easily and the the doors glide smoothly. I have not had a problem with water splashing around or under the glass doors. The semi-frameless design seems to work well for that. The Fedx delivery went well, but the delivery person told me that 80 % of shower doors he delivers arrive with broken glass. Some vendors ship the doors even if they know the glass is already broken before Fedx picks them up. When he checked where these came from he said that this vendor accounts for much of the 20% that arrive with no damage. I knew to open the box and check for damage before accepting the delivery, but this high percentage of damage is information I had not heard before. So I lucked out and bought from a vendor that packages the product well. If the delivery guy is right, then this alone is a major reason to buy from DreamLine.

This is a great shower door. It was not too complicated to install. For me anyways. I decided to download and review the pdf installation guide well before the door arrived, giving me the opportunity to be extra prepared. The only thing I will make a complaint about is that the kit does not come with longer stainless steel screws (at least 3 inches). This is for the individuals that do not need to secure the support rails with the use of anchors but can drill straight to the stud. The screws that come with the kit don't even make it past the durarock. They should have at least added a few 3 inch screws to the kit for this alternate installation. I had to stop mid-installation, with my rail pieces fully caulked, and run to the nearest hardware store just to get the right screws to finish the installation. But other than that frustrating inconvenience the shower door is really nice.

This is a beautiful quality shower door. It looks gorgeous in my newly renovated shower. I had gotten a hinge one but it didn't fit the width of the shower so I had to reorder another. I went with dreamline as it has very high rating from customers. I will say that it definitely requires two people to put it in place. The doors are quite heavy. And you need a person two spot for the top bar so it doesn't get moved out of position.

The product arrived early, well boxed, and delivered by UPS. The Dreamline doors are very nice quality. Can't complain about anything, except the concern of brakeage, that can take place if it is not taken care of.

The Dream Line Encore shower door really finished off my bathroom remodel and nicely shows off my new tile shower. I installed it myself. It is a relatively easy job, but be sure to have help handling the glass panels as they are heavy. I did need to substitute longer mounting screws for the frame. The ones that came with the door were not long enough to go through the tile and backer board to securely screw into the studs. The finished and adjusted door glides like magic and operates very smoothly.

Great quality product with appropriate size for bathtub to shower conversion minimum size opening. Just be aware that shipping time is not definite with delivery sporadic depending on location/circumstances etc., so keep in mind if remodel is on a definite time line.

Love the look of this in our renovated shower and the solid feel to the doors as they slide is good. The shipping and specially arranged delivery by Amazon's shipping company was on-time and efficient as scheduled and they hauled the somewhat bulky/heavy unit upstairs for us. There were 4 small chrome screw caps (to make it look nice and cover the screw heads so they don't rust) that were missing in the box but DreamLine's tech support on the phone was very efficient and shipped them out to me the following week.

Received on time, well packaged. Beautiful door, excellent quality! Very sturdy, well made. Door slides smoothly. The matte black finish is perfect.
