Glass shattered for no reason after fitting
Glass cover has shattered one week after it was fitted. Bulb was well below maximum wattage, so I can only assume the glass is not strong enough to withstand the pressure applied on it by the design of the shade - the glass is basically clamped either side by two pieces of hard plastic. For safety reasons, I suggest not purchasing.
