Does not fit? READ THIS. Best Keyboard case for iPad, ever. Period.
iPad model: Air, 4th Generation, A2316Pencil: Yes.First try: Received a product from Amazon that did not fit. I reached out to support, annoyed, and they wanted to check the product code, so I sent them the photos of stickers on both the packet and the case.Second try: Requested a refund and replacement, because I was getting impatient. Amazon sends me a "TypeCase Flex" instead of a "TypeCase Touch". If you do not know the difference, TypeCase has both a keyboard and a touchpad, whereas "flex" only has a keyboard. Taking a deep breath, I start writing my email to the TypeCase support - "This is getting ridiculous..".But - I noticed that the keyboard felt great even for the non-fitting touch TypeCase, and the case was solid. Not too heavy, but the right amount of sturdy.Third try: Requesting a full refund this time, I bought a TypeCase Touch, with green color this time. That came the next day, and fit perfectly without trying much at all. And it was not too tight or loose - just the right amount of fitting. Now, onto the actual review of the case that fits:The case is great! In fact, it is so good that I immediately decided that I am not annoyed anymore with the first and second tries (it was probably Amazon's fault anyway). The battery works, the trackpad/touchpad is awesome, supports multi-gesture, and the 360 hinge works as intended. I should mention that the hinge is very slightly wobbly when it is in laptop mode while I am typing, but that's okay.Compared to some other premium keyboard cases out there, this comes at the fraction of the costs of those premium products, while still offering a keyboard and a trackpad that feels premium. Did I mention that it has backlights and USB-C?The only thing that can be improved at this point is to move the pencil holder from the side to the magnetic zone so that it can be held securely and charged at the same time. But I doubt then the touch-charging the pencil will work anymore. So it has got to stay where it is. Not that it is a bad placement or gets in the way in any conceivable way.To summarize / Tl; DR: This is one of the best keyboard and touch cases I have ever used and purchased, and it is worth every single dollar. Period.Grab this, and if you get a product that does not fit, request a replacement and a refund. Repeat maybe until you get it right because TypeCase deserves those additional chances.

Good product even if it looks a tad cheap.
The keyboard is great, and once it's set up, it kicks in quickly for you almost every time you turn it back on. The battery life is good. The LED lighting is a neat touch. Putting the backend of the case on makes your ipad seem a tad cheap, like some laptop from 2004. But, for the price, and the protection, I can't complain. It has been useful for travel and flights. The pen holder is secure, and I use it when I don't need to charge the pen or whenever I stow the iPad in a bag. The swivel angles take a little getting used to, but are useful and seem to be holding up pretty well. Again, for the cost, this is pretty tough to beat.

One big problem…
Sturdy, attractive, functional, all but in one area. I’m surprised nobody else is having a problem with it… I can’t charge my iPad while it’s in the case. The cord won’t go all the way in unless I take it out. It’s a real bummer but I love the case so much that it’s not a dealbreaker.

Typecase Vs Magic Keyboard
So I was debating between the apple magic keyboard and this brand. I spent a lot of time researching because I wanted to make the right purchase. I wanted something that would make the iPad more efficient, a case that is functional, protective, and durable. I was trying to understand if it the price difference for the magic keyboard was really worth it.Overall, I am impressed with the quality, functionality, and versatility especially since it costs 1/3 of the Magic Keyboard. I think in many ways it is actually superior to the Magic Keyboard. So I compiled a list of pros and cons for this keyboard below. Hopefully, it’ll help some of you out there who are also on the fence.Pros:- Multi-color light up keyboard with medium and high brightness- There are holes for the speaker, mic, and charging port- Uses USB-C charger (same as iPad)- Sleek design, lots of colors to choose from- Great price. 1/3 of the magic keyboard- I especially like the functionality buttons that allow for play, pause, skip, rewind, brightness and sound control. It even has a Home Screen button. (Magic keyboard doesn’t even have these functions).- Lots of positive reviews from others. I really did my research before buying this brand and I was impressed with the positive feedback from others.- You can flip it a multitude of ways: use it in tablet mode, or up to 180 degrees rotation! This is great because i can type from any angle. The magic keyboard only has one angle which is frustrating when you rotate the screen higher based on where you’re using it from.- There is a battery button you can press to see the battery life of the keyboard. Full charge is 3 blue lights.Cons:- It adds weight to the iPad. But honestly, it’s only like 1lb.- The material is like a cheap plastic. It’s not really heavy duty. But you get what you pay for, and anything more sturdy would probably add weight.- The leather strap for the stylus is on the bottom keyboard. I think that’s a bad design choice. It's not even big enough to hold a regular pen. It would be more accessible if it was on the upper keyboard, where the iPad sits- You can’t pop it on and off like the magnetic function of other keyboards. It’s not too hard to snap it in the case and take it off but it’s not instant by any means-The keyboard doesn't open 360 degrees. You have to twist it to turn it in order to lay it down fully. I suppose it's built like that so it stands up properly when in laptop mode instead of flopping over.- The trackpad isn’t perfect. Compared to a real laptop or the magic keyboard, I think there is a slight difference. The keyboard goes into sleep mode after 5-10 min so it isn’t responsive to the first touch after a long period. I read a lot of reviews that said the trackpad was extra sensitive and they couldn’t type while it was activated, but I haven’t experienced that at all. I find the trackpad rather responsive (not as perfect as magic keyboard, but definitely manageable. No complaints)

It's Great!!
I like the swivel feature of this case. It is well made and fits well but the touchpad feature is one of the main reasons I bought it. I had difficulty with the touch pad but it was likely a user error. The seller reached out to me and helped me resolve it, I was very impressed with the product AND especially the seller who promptly reached out to me and offered help.
