She is very pleased and a happy wife makes for a happy husband
This was one of those items, that I thought we didn't need. It was something my wife wanted, so I got it for her anyway, She is very pleased and a happy wife makes for a happy husband. I was torn between this item and Stamina X that is 60.00 more (on Amazon). I contacted Titan and they acted like they didn't know anything about their competitor(Stamina X). So I contacted Stamina X and they said the same thing, they didn't know any thing about the Titan adjust. pyro box. Personally, I believe that if I made a product and there was only one competitor, I would know all about the competition. I believe that both companies were not honest with me in regards to my question. Another issue was I couldn't find either item by any retailers such as Wal-mart, Target, Sears, etc. , to physically see either product. You could order it on line, but they didn't have any in their stores. I asked my question to people on amazon and no one could clearly say, seeing they didn't know about the other product, only the one that they purchased. I found the Stamina X adjust. pyro box at a sporting goods store that sales used equipment. The store said it was new, but it was a display model, so to me that is used. Also the Stamina X was 30.00 or more higher than Amazon, so no thanks. However, it did give me the chance to see and feel the Stamina X. The Stamina X brand has over 3 to one more reviews as opposed to the Titan one. Also the Stamina X is the leading high end one recommended for 2016 and 2017 by Wikipedia. Because of this I was undecided. I called Titan and they said if I didn't like it I could send it back after a few days. Long story short, I can't see any difference other than the color shades are a little different and the Stamina X has a sticker saying Stamina X. In my opinion this wouldn't be worth 50 cent, let alone 60.00. I went with the Titan and I am well pleased. Both are built to last for your grand-kids, extremely sturdy and well built. Great addition to our already full gym. If you want a sturdy, safe and clutter free adjust. pyro box, than this is the one to get! It collapses so you have 4 heights to easily select from, without the restriction of your space. Plus the 60.00 savings for an equivalent product, for me after much research was a no brainier!

Works great for me
I was on the fence about buying this because it is a lot of money and some of the reviews mentioned stability issues and sharp corners. Well, after using it several times I can report: 1) there are no stability issues. It is built like a tank. I am 5'6, 140lb and it doesn't budget. Now, I did have to put it on a level floor. If your floor isn't level, of course, it is going to move a little with use, but that is because of the floor, not the equipment. 2) contrary to what one reviewer said, this has no sharp corners. The corners are rounded. Now, if you fall and hit it on your way down, I am sure it is going to hurt because, um, it is metal, not padding. But, there are no sharp corners. In sum, I love this box because 1) adjustable, 2) easily adjusted, 3) stable and safe.

CES and Certified Coach and Trainer I feel good about this product
I endorse this product. I have seen other reviews on this product line, that are defaming to the products general design. Obviously, I do not agree (IE 5 star rating). The product is very solid and slightly compact in design. The make and weight of the adjustable plyometric training ”stand” are evident when removing it, from its expertly packaged shipping container. At first, I saw a mutilated box and though it was damaged until I saw the care of packaging within. I use it also as a DB stand for my adjustable Dumbells, as it is built to more than handle the 110lb weight. As a certified TRX Coach, NASM PES, CES and Award Winning Certified Coach and Trainer I feel good about this product. It looks great with the thick red finish, from an aesthetic point of view. I like the appeal sitting next to my Kettlebell collection (gives clients the instant information that they require IE ”this is going to be serious training”). I can use it as a functional piece. I imagine it's great for a Mobile all-in-one [plyo-training]. Con would be that the awkwardness requires a sturdy strap for picking-up as well as transport. Also, the weight for most female trainers and coaches may be cumbersome (it is heavy and backward as mentioned). I weigh 215lbs and have no qualms about standing on it. However with a size 13 shoe I fear the tip of my shoes getting on on the bottom portion of the object, thus landing on an already semi-collapsed unit. However, for smaller clients, I think it is ideal, especially those who do not possess the force ballistically speaking as over-turn the now on its side very dangerous metal object. I will, however, keep this rating at 5 stars, as this has not happened to late. I feel the product description matches well with its image and display (over the internet). It is not a quick job to change the dimensions and I would take a star off for this if it weren't also so practical as a DB stand, that can ultimately handle moderate to semi-heavy ”Big Weights”.BDM Author

Extremely solid and stable.
Wow, this thing is rock solid. Measurements are listed so I won't repeat. I had some worry because I thought it adjusts by scissors type action, I thought that as you put it higher, the base gets narrower. I was wrong. The mechanism used is brilliant. The base is the same width no matter what height it's set at. It's a beast, at 50 lbs! Yes, adjusting the height is a chore, mainly because you have to place the 50lb beast on it's back. But the actual adjustment is super simple and quick. I weigh close to 200 lbs this time of year. I tested the stability by having it at it's highest setting, and jumping on and off at the edge. It's absolutely stable. You'd have to do something really silly to get this to tip over. The only defect that I can find is that the thick rubble sheet on the surface is starting to fall off. It's placed inside a framed side wall so it won't be an issue while using. The only time I noticed that it's not stuck on is when I turned the thing over to just the height. Luckily I have a can of spray adhesive and now it's fine. I won't take any star off for this.

Good Workout Tool, but Pricey
This plyo box has sturdy metal construction, and is pretty solid. Only at the higher height settings does is get a little unstable - more due to physics of six and footprint, than the construction itself. It's fairly easy to change heights, and it does the job. The only downside is the value - though cheaper than some similar items, a metal bench (old technology) should not cost this much. I bought it as a gift, though it pained me to reward folks cashing in on the fitness craze.
