This horn sounds more like an Italian sports car than train or usual car horn. It is loud . I am happy with my purchase .

Super-loud compared to OEM horns
I replaced the two OEM horns on my 2018 Honda Clarity with this product and it works fabulous! Crazy loud compared to the original horns. I purchased a harness to eliminate wire splicing. I had to upgrade the fuse from 10 amp to 15 amp and it works perfect. The horns are cheap plastic but the horn does what it's supposed to. It's a loud dual tone honker!Mounting is a pain because it just has a lip you slide over the horn bold. In a lot of conditions this simply wouldn't be secure. With the Clarity the horn goes under a plastic engine cover which sits on top of the horn compressor, so this mounting arrange is perfect in this application.Instructions are just a few diagrams on the side of the box so make sure you do your research.

Loud, when it works
This is a very loud horn! It must be mounted with the trumpet pointing down to prevent water from getting into it so be aware of that when selecting a location for it.Originally I gave this a 5 star rating. It’s loud! But apparently wasn’t designed to last. I used it twice after installing it and all was well then it only works intermittently. The motor turns but apparently doesn’t pump air into the trumpets. Not impressed!

Functional but not exceedingly loud
Very easy install. Bridged positive wire with existing horn and negative to grounded bolt. Activates when horn pressed. While it does have a different tone similar to a train horn but higher pitch I did not find it exceedingly loud. Decibel meter said my standard horn was 115, new air horn came in at 125 by itself.
