Works well
Great for getting into tight spots where a welding helmet won't fit. These glasses work very well. No way to change the battery that I've found, but they're cheap enough, if the battery ever fails, just get another pair. Other guys at work are buying these after seeing how well my pair works. You will sunburn your face quickly, so don't plan on replacing your helmet with these.

Really surprised..
Received these Friday, and used them today. They work extremely well. I was kinda sceptical because of the price. But they work. I only gave 4 stars as I feel they are light duty and won't hold up with long heavy use but for the price it's a awesome deal.

Quality product
This is a great product and not as bulkier as a full helmet

Bought for plasma cutter use.
Over all fairly happy with item especially for the low cost.Bought them for quick jobs with my plasma cutter when I didn't feel like dragging a helmet out of the bag.Don't know if I would trust these with Mig or TIGAlso protective cover over each lens fall off very easily.I'm assuming that was to protect the lenses in use and not for protection during shipping.

Dimming is buggy
These will dim for a moment and then turn off, scorching my eyeballs. I bought 2 pairs and both of them are the same way. I can only keep the dimming active by tapping it with my finger. There must be a bad connection in there.

Great for quick welding tasks.
I didn't expect much but my welding needs are usually limited to attaching a steel billet to a rebar workstick (I'm not the biggest fan of using metal tongs) and I need to weld up a stack of Damascus to limit oxidation.Yesterday after attaching a work stick to a chunk of metal (was steel from a famous Maine coach from 1805) I welded it up, noticed a defect on the steel and still wearing these glasses I hopped over to the 2x72 grinder to kick off a small glob of MIG weld, I was amazed that even a single spark from my grinder, actuated these glasses into full dark mode. Only my best welding helmet will do that.
