Q: I heard that raw salmon can be lethal for dogs. How is your raw dehydrated lamb and salmon different?

Hi! We completely understand your concern about the raw salmon. However, we are well aware of the dangers of raw salmon, and have made sure to eliminate the threat of Nanophyetus salmincola (or Neorickettisa), the dangerous toxin that can be found in raw salmon. Flukes (the common name for Nanophyetus salmincola and reasoning behind salmon poisoning) are absolutely taken care of in our products. To begin with, flukes cannot survive deep freezing for more than a few minutes. We're sure to freeze our salmon products at or below the necessary temperature for sufficient time to ensure the safety of the fish. Then, all of our products go through the hydrostatic high pressure process—this, too, would be plenty sufficient to eliminate the threat of flukes. Q: How long after opening are they still fresh?

Hi! Once open using the easy open tab on the front of the bag, the product is freshest within the first few weeks, and safest within the first few months. My poor puppy mill rescue had no hair on her belly. Peanut loves this food and within 3 months she had hair on that belly I love to rub. I also use their hip and joint formula for my 14 year old small dog. This food is great!!!

Great for dog treats

Pretty pricey but I do like these for dog treats. I cut them in half with scissors to make them go further.
